Some women actually dig bald men. My mother told me back in the day, women found them attractive. It's only this generation that mugs bald men. I guess every generation had their preferences, but I believe the whole taking the piss out of bald men in this generation feels like a business. I know, as a kid, I always dreamed of watching those guys, and my big dream was to be like them one day and now, I'm in those shoes, and the next generation is looking up at us, and I want to be that role model. I want to be as good as I can on and off the ice for those kids, and I want them to know their dreams can come true. I was that young kid chasing a dream and you never know what tomorrow brings, and, you know, it can happen. Hard work, and smart work, and doing the right things. It does pay off. Matthew Tkachuk: “My dad was lucky enough to finish in four Olympics. The best he finished was a silver in Salt Lake. And he, you know, wouldn't have traded any of those experiences for that experience, he just had in Italy for us. Like, he — to him, to my mom, to my sister, to, you know, our wives, families, everything, like it was the most incredible time, probably anybody has ever had in the sport of hockey. So, we're so lucky for the support. We're so lucky for the support from our dad. I still talk to him daily about everything hockey, life-related, and I'm shocked he actually didn't cry to be honest with you, but he was very, very proud. I am a proud Marine who was sent to Iraq in a war we never should have fought. Told “you go to war with the army you have. John Methu: If I die someday, I would want politicians to come and play a lot of politics at my funeral because I am a politician. My family must acknowledge and appreciate that I have been speaking at so many funerals. It cannot be that I have been speaking in so many funerals, but I do not want them to speak in mine. I lost my dad, and people came to bury my dad on the 2nd of January 2024, and there were many politicians. I never heard anybody from my family complain that politicians came to that funeral. I would never have forgiven myself if I left that podium without mentioning the things I had been sent by the people of Nyandarua #CitizenSundayLive

What is my mission? My mission has always been to help and inspire others. This all started when I was an infant, I was dying and no one would listen to my mom. Diagnosing her with postpartum depression. Calling her crazy. Till one day a nurse listened and finally got help. If it wasn’t for that nurse, I would have died that day. I had twisted intestines and they were about to blow. Even as a kid I just wanted people to be happy. I was that kid who helped other kids feel included especially those kids who were bullied for having autism or special needs. I was bullied with them, but it was fine because at the time I didn’t really know i was being bullied too. I became a caregiver, an advocate for children with special needs, and a home health care nurse for patients with dementia. I helped families and children get through the darkest times in their lives. In 2018 my life flashed before my eyes after an accident and everything changed. I lost a lot of my memories, my friends, and I also lost myself. I won’t dig too deep into this but, after this and after speech therapy as well as other types therapy I became even stronger. On X: I want to surround myself with genuine people and create an all inclusive space where everyone has a voice. That’s exactly what I did with OnChainTV for over a year. — Now I’m doing it with my subscribers. I want to help spread positivity during those darker days, to help people feel included, and feel heard. There are still so many people who have so much to say, yet some feel like no one is listening or cares to listen. I do. When I stopped doing spaces I kind of lost myself… on top of that I lost a very close family member which broke me into pieces. I didn’t know what I lost till I was asked by Penny “what is your mission?” My mission is and will always be to help others and create a safe space for people to be themselves. I am a huge advocate for people to be able to be themselves without the fear of judgement. I will do whatever I can to help others and I will continue to do so. Yesterday, 50 years ago, I was forced to leave everything I had ever known behind. In the dark haze of the morning, my family and I fled as everything around us crumbled. Saigon had fallen, and so had the lives my family had built for us. Fortunate to be embraced by American kindness and opportunity, I earned my place as an American and Texan. Ever since arriving in this great state so many years ago, I never took for granted this blessing of freedom, opportunity, and compassion. From my first job in the United States as a busboy to being a member of the greatest state legislature in the nation, I serve, I speak, I fight for freedom and opportunity because it is never guaranteed. I commit to the values of this state and nation for my family, for my lost land, for my children and yours, and to always be that light in the darkness that is communism. #txlege

When I turned around and found three different men in the women’s locker room with me while I was naked on four separate occasions in just two weeks I was forced to confront a painful reality. Not only has our government failed women, but we as women have failed one another by remaining silent. No one is coming to save us. We must save ourselves. It’s time for women to unite in truth, stand together, and advocate for the rights, privacy, safety, and dignity of women and girls. The cost of doing nothing is too high. If we refuse to speak up, the next generation will inherit the consequences. Young girls are depending on us to protect what generations of women fought to secure. The time to stand together is now.

Why are so many young people single these days? Pooja Arora (Pooja Arora): So my last question: I wanted to talk about why people are single nowadays. I would have asked about human nature, but that’s for another day. I sent you an article—how do you think common knowledge fits into that area? Why do you think so many youngsters are single? Me: Yes, it’s a good question. I’m not sure that common knowledge is an important part of the answer, but some of it is that women no longer depend on the economic contributions of men for their livelihood, as was true, say, in my mother’s era, when women were not professionally trained. To pay the rent, they had to be married. Now, not only are women better educated, but the economy has shifted to favor the kinds of skills that women, as opposed to men, have. And just as women have been rising, men have been sinking because of the decline in blue-collar work. There have also been cultural trends that favor women’s temperaments. Men have been distracted by internet gaming, gambling, and pornography and are less desirable as marriage partners. Women with more economic power are more likely to raise their standards for what they want in a man. In my parents’ generation, it was not uncommon for a woman to marry a man with much less education and, sometimes, less intelligence. This was not unusual among my parents’ friends. The men often had a high school degree and then went immediately into a small business—sometimes a family business, sometimes one he started himself. The criterion was: does he make a living? No one cared about education. That has changed, with the result that there are fewer men who satisfy the criteria women now have. This was mentioned in the article you shared with me. Also, with more sexual freedom, people don’t have to get married simply to have sex, which was again true in my parents’ generation. There’s a process that has been in place since the baby boomers and has accelerated among millennials and Generation Z. For other reasons, I think a generation of men may also be incapable of socially skilled interaction, partly because they’ve grown up with screens instead of face-to-face contact. There is some fear that a sexual encounter could result in an accusation of rape or sexual harassment. There is so much pornography that, for an increasing number of men, it serves as an outlet for what in the past would have required actual human contact. There are many factors. The article from The Economist lists them, I think, quite skillfully. It’s not clear how to reverse the trend. Increasing the economic prospects of men and creating an educational system that is less feminized and more encouraging of male achievement might help. Another could be changing norms—and here common knowledge comes in. Among women, is it a sign of low status to be with a man who has less education than you? Men, from time immemorial, have been happy to marry women with less education than themselves. Women don't. That immediately reduces the marriage pool. Maybe that’s a norm that could change. Go back to the norm in my parents’ generation? Pooja Arora: No, let’s not do that. Me: Okay, let's not do that. Pooja Arora: We’re happy to marry men who are not as educated as us. It’s fine. They just have to be nice and kind at this point in time. Me: Well, yes—exactly. Nice and kind.

There was a young kid on the internet who told me that I use Ohio State Football for clout. I responded to him that “you have a firm grip on the obvious”. The young guy thought that he was clowning me and I had to help educate him that I was leveraging myself and my experiences there. When you’re former player on any team that you contributed to, it’s your responsibility to socialize, network, make yourself visible and create relationships for yourself after the game is done. The university isn’t looking to edify and connect with former players unless their connection helps the current state of football and its program. The university will typically allow you to come to practice, go to a golf outing to help them raise money or some other philanthropic event that they see benefits them and most athletes show up in the spirit of just wanting to be around. I see most looking for “someone to hook them up” or “do some favor” in exchange for little value. I’ve seen it for years. Most dudes just like to come around, get drunk and relive glory years. When I come around and associate myself with Ohio State Football I’m coming to do business. I’m going to phish for opportunities or I’m leveraging those old glory years stories for personal advancement. Every time the school references the 2002 National Championship they’re living off of contributions I made so I feel it’s only right to “Get Mine Regardless”. I don’t want any scraps. I don’t want to be some old has been. I don’t want to be an extra at someone’s golf course and I don’t want to be someone’s personal mascot. I show up to own, participate in equity groups and get all I can from my affiliation. I understand the social equity I’ve created over the years. I just had to educate myself enough and discipline myself enough to take advantage of it accordingly…. So to the young guy. I won’t say the jokes on you. I’ll say that you’re watching someone take advantage of something that very few former players know how to take advantage of. There was a young kid on the internet who told me that I use Ohio State Football for clout. I responded to him that “you have a firm grip on the obvious”. The young guy thought that he was clowning me and I had to help educate him that I was leveraging myself and my experiences there. When you’re former player on any team that you contributed to, it’s your responsibility to socialize, network, make yourself visible and create relationships for yourself after the game is done. The university isn’t looking to edify and connect with former players unless their connection helps the current state of football and its program. The university will typically allow you to come to practice, go to a golf outing to help them raise money or some other philanthropic event that they see benefits them and most athletes show up in the spirit of just wanting to be around. I see most looking for “someone to hook them up” or “do some favor” in exchange for little value. I’ve seen it for years. Most dudes just like to come around, get drunk and relive glory years. When I come around and associate myself with Ohio State Football I’m coming to do business. I’m going to phish for opportunities or I’m leveraging those old glory years stories for personal advancement. Every time the school references the 2002 National Championship they’re living off of contributions I made so I feel it’s only right to “Get Mine Regardless”. I don’t want any scraps. I don’t want to be some old has been. I don’t want to be an extra at someone’s golf course and I don’t want to be someone’s personal mascot. I show up to own, participate in equity groups and get all I can from my affiliation. I understand the social equity I’ve created over the years. I just had to educate myself enough and discipline myself enough to take advantage of it accordingly…. So to the young guy. I won’t say the jokes on you. I’ll say that you’re watching someone take advantage of something that very few former players know how to take advantage of. BANNON: Jack Kennedy’s murder. Jack Kennedy was a symbol for the Greatest Generation. To be assassinated by a guy like Oswald… the prince in Camelot can’t be assassinated by a guy like Oswald, just a stone cold loser. It’s the same thing with Charlie Kirk. Charlie Kirk was the best of his generation. So many young men looked up to him. And to be killed… it boggles the mind what we’re doing. We’re sitting here talking about the assassination of arguably one of the greatest young men of his generation and we’re talking about gay furry lovers.
