Rays CEO Ken Babby on what MLB Commissioner Robert Manfred said last night to him on the phone: “We are in the late innings of a very long game with the future of baseball in Tampa Bay hanging in the balance. We have faith in Tampa Bay as a Major League city and I hope that the city council responds with a positive vote to this non binding MOU.”
