He was trying to make a point that when Xavier Becerra was on our show and I asked him, "What's one policy that you would change?" he didn't come up with anything. And Tom Steyer came ready to bear with lots of policies. That's a radically different California, if all that stuff passes. What did you make of Steyer? Ian Calderon: I thought Tom was actually really good tonight. He's kind of at this point where you get this candidate high and everything is clicking. You know what you're talking about, you're not worried about hitting all your talking points — you're coming from your gut, you're coming from your feeling. I mean, he understands that right now is the moment to leave it all on the table.

"Probably in our family, you can think of people who made mistakes." What an absolute train wreck of an answer. Becerra is running for Governor of California, but he can't even keep his own staff from stealing $225,000 from him. Becerra claims he had "no sight" on the corruption happening right under his nose. California is sending out voter guides to residents that are missing a bunch of candidates California residents will not get to review all the candidates their voting on before voting The reason is Proposition 34. It established limits on campaign contributions for certain offices For governor, you must agree not to spend more than $11,767,000 for the primary and stay under $19,611,000 for the general election. If you don't agree to that, you don't get to be in the voter guide. $100 million is not unusual for a statewide campaign. According to the Secretary of State's office, the candidate statement costs $25 per word, not to exceed 250 words, which would cost $6,250.
