These are my parents’ grandkids. They are our first-born’s daughters. One lives in Britain, the other lives in Australia. I was the first in our family to relocate to London to study. I told them that I could not continue sending money, so I brought them to London instead. They studied there, became British citizens, and the older one in white later moved to Australia. Their mother lived with me from when I was in Grade One. She was a teacher. Most people called her “Mai Hope,” but she was simply my sister. Family is the first stepping stone in life. I love my family. My family looked after me, we should always look after each other. The whole family came to Johannesburg because I can’t go to Zimbabwe for obvious reasons.
