When Dirk retired- Larry Bird congratulated him on leaving the game better than he found it. In contrast- LeBron is leaving the game worse than he found it. Ring chasing and stacking his teams (and still going 4-6 in the finals), jumping from team to team, flopping, whining, self glorification, passing out of big moments, blaming others- that’s his legacy. That’s what he brought to the NBA. He made the NBA worse. Incredible talent, but he’ll be remembered for all the negatives.

Well everybody needs recognition, even if you decide to give it to yourself. I guess.
