This video was shared with us by Madison Brincks, showing just how dangerous travel became on Highway 69 south of Belmond, Iowa Thursday afternoon. Madison was stuck on the side of the road for nearly an hour, along with 40–50 other vehicles, all waiting for visibility to improve as whiteout conditions took over. Blowing snow and strong winds made it impossible to see, forcing traffic to come to a complete stop.

This evening i witnessed a near nasty crash at Bulanga on the Iganga-Mayuge road where a premio following us from behind attempted to overtake without checking ahead for oncoming traffic, forcing it to swerve into a trench to avoid a head-on collusion with an oncoming trailer. Fortunately, no one was injured. Please think twice before overtaking ! It's better to arrive late than risk your life.

I have never encountered this in China. This is my first time in Hopson One, the 190,000 square meter mall with over 260 places to eat alone in downtown Beijing. It is in the center of four subway lines, and this crowd is crazy. You literally have to wait in line to use the escalator, and you can forget about using the elevator… that's not happening. We took people here because on the fifth floor there is an area with about ten EV brands where you can sit in the cars and experience them. It's part of our Youth Tech China Trek. It is our last day, just a short stop to relax, but it is really giving people a view into how much activity and bustle there is in China. I haven't seen this in any other malls, which look more like American ones, frankly, with a lot less traffic. But this one is so crowded. I was actually here yesterday (Friday night at 9:30pm, right before closing) to confirm which EV models were on display, and there were still lines!!!

If ordinary people drove like this, they’d be slapped with hefty challans. Why should those in power be exempt? Traffic rules exist for everyone’s safety, not just for the public. 🌪️ Drone footage of a possible tornado last night near Midtown in Kansas City. The multiple bright green flashes seen coming from the ground were electrical arcs from power lines. Powerful winds, debris hurled into the wires, or damage to utility poles and lines can send bright bursts of green and blue into the night sky, illuminating the storm from below.
