Tonight's tool: a simple way to preview any text in all of my local fonts at once. Would you find it useful if I cleaned up and released?

UI/UX Designers, you can now render and animate 3D models without opening Blender. I just found this amazing tool called Morflax, a simple browser-based tool that lets you upload a 3D model, customize materials and lighting, and export stunning video animations in minutes. Can’t believe it’s free; bookmark it for later. 💜

I was digging around the HyperCard 1.0.1 floppy image tonight, as one does, and found a curious private file: FONT 31756. It's a font file containing all of the glyphs for HyperCard's tool palette, likely created by Kristee Kreitman and Marge Boots (credited in the app for Graphic Art). I can't believe they were using this technique back in 1987, although it seems Bruce Tognazzini invented it with MouseText two years prior (!). I was moved, as I often am by the work of our field's forebears, so created this little tool for everyone to explore it here:

Bts of how @.bigjko used Move AI to animate this Candy Man. No suits or markers, just pure AI-driven motion capture. Motion Capture: Move AI 3D Animation: Houdini Render Engine: Octane Render

Nomad Sculpt has this post-processing feature called "Pixel Art" that essentially scales the render down close to what you could use (with edits of course) in games and stuff. I'm going to try and animate these out and render all the views I need. :) #gamedev #nomadsculpt

$One of my favorite details for Interface Craft is one of the least used: the invoice tool. Customers can enter the unique tax or business info they need, see what they paid in localized currency along with any discounts, and download a PDF. Thankfully Stripe makes this all fairly easy. It's something only a fraction of users see, but I think great design is sometimes about facilitating all of the edge cases to keep accounting and tax departments happy worldwide!$

Always make a jig. Whenever I'm making something that's repetitive or highly dynamic, I try and make a tool to aid me. For the categorization quiz in Pica, each font card hops into the style you select. I made this lil curved path editor to dial it in.
