Eventually, got lots of work to do one it, once everything is implemented as a first pass ill be going back through and making it all tweakable for specific looks, it also isnt the fastest method so some optimization sometime too

🚀 Big milestone! I've replaced almost my entire Unreal Engine physics pipeline with Box3D. Sharing the latest progress on Box3DUnreal: a free, open-source Box3D integration for Unreal Engine focused on lightweight and high-performance physics. Here's a progress update on my recreation of the Simpsons landscape material! I created a post process material that outlines edges of surfaces, I drew a cliff texture for slopes as well as a bush texture and its masks so I have full control over its outline and shadowing, and I improved the variation of colors and patterns on the ground. I'm so proud on how this is turning out so far! #UEFN #Fortnite

Thank you for your feedback on the engine I’ve been working on, I’m glad you liked it! As part of my progress, I’ve implemented 8-directional movement, an attack system, a user interface, animations, and a 3-hit combo. ToDo, jump attack and improving the enemy AI. There’s still a lot to do, but I’m happy with how it’s turning out so far. Just a reminder—this technical demo uses the TMNT as placeholder characters. 🔁 #gamedev #indiedev #gameboycolor #gameboydev

Here is a full showcase of my custom Source 2-like light baking and probe implementation for Unreal Engine 5. Features showcased: - Volume based probe system (full density control, fade between volumes with a volume fade slider, automatic volume priority and custom priority overrides) - GPU Lightmass with expanded features like a custom denoiser and overall QOL (like a bake volume which only bakes objects inside the volume for fast prototyping) - Custom Box Capture implementation to make it easier to use (basically just a custom way of scaling the box capture component since its so annoying) - A custom fullbright viewport option for easier map editing (without having to get visual clutter in the way) Will eventually release on FAB as a plugin for UE 5.7. Today, one year ago, my solo-developed game Whispers in the Fog had its World Premiere at Future Games Show 2025. #UnrealEngine After making some engine modification to Vite now I'm able to make a totally unfair comparison. Vite with RT GI + RT Reflections + DFAO + Tessellation No dips below 60 fps 5.7 #Lumen With Reflections Goes as low as 12fps! 5x slower 5.7 No Dynamic GI, No reflections, Shadows/AO of less quality No dips below 50 fps (20% slower) Yes, even when running both #Raytraced GI and Reflections the #AMD #RDNA2 6700 (#PS5 Equivalent) outperforms barebones #UE5 on UE Vite I made a video recording with my phone to display the actual framerate as PC recording lowers FPS: Download the builds and try for yourself: Join and post your results: Support Vite: #gamedev #rendering #engine

I've been making great progress on my #Unrealengine tool for helping you find optimisation opportunities and potential bugs in your #UE5 levels It's pretty much there, few more bits to go. I started writing up the documentation and need to do a bunch of testing to make sure everything works as intended! There are currently 91 searches you can run: - 46 optimisation searches across 11 actor types - 45 bug searches across 10 actor types People seem most interested in lighting optimisation, so here are a couple of examples of the light optimisation searches you can run: 🔸Lights with no max draw distance set 🔸Lights with Cast Shadow enabled/disabled 🔸Lights with specific mobility modes 🔸Lights with edited lighting channels Let me know what you would most want to be able to search for! #gamedev

I am so sick of my art process being called AI generated because it is not perfect I have a 9-6. I draw from 12 AM - 4AM so I can have something for my patrons who always get emails at 4AM. I post rendered artwork so rarely I don’t reach 20 in a year. And you mfs think I’ll AI generate a reference instead of working on something for days and then having a major change because I got good rest that day. If I use AI to generate my art I’d post everyday and make so much money. But no I have integrity despite how tedious this all is. This is human indecisiveness you see here not fucking AI. I WON’T SPEND SO MUCH TIME ON THIS IF I HAD AI ASSISTING ME.

This was 2023 in FUTO, Victony was having his homecoming and he posted that there was gonna be an open mic at the school roundabout and whosoever was picked would get to perform, I went there as early as possible, nobody was even there when I arrived, had to wait for them and missed my GST test in the process. 😂 Was selected and he even posted me on his story, I preformed at his Homecoming I was so happy fr! Now look how far we’ve come!!! I’m really grateful to God fr and thanks to y’all that listen to my music, I love y’all 🤍
