That's odd. I asked my Chinese wife what her digital ID number is. She doesn't have one. Unlike (democratic) India's Aadhaar - which everybody has. China doesn't have a social credit system either.

China not just uses Digital ID to control people. China also hires an army, the 4 million Social Credit System Enforcers to control people. Every year, China spends more money on Surveillance State (to control people) than defence budget.
