Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 (Gameboy Advance 2001)
Комментарии: 35

I have always been amazed that they achieved this on the Game Boy Advance.

Isometric Tony Hawk 🤌

This was the game I got with my launch GBA, so many hours staring at that dark screen!

The story behind this game is incredible:

16.75MHz cpu and no 3d hardware btw. this comes through in their choice to use dithering vs alpha blending. legendary programmers to pull this game off

Back when they used to optimize games. Just watched a video about how this game was made. Developers used their intelligence and creativity instead of relying on the power of a machine. Consoles don't even reach optimization until the end of their life cycle. Consoles are dying.

Damn, I finished it last month. Isometric view is sick...

This blew my mind as a kid. Couldn't believe a handheld game could look this amazing.

Bringing back that nostalgic car sickness

in the backseat going to an amusement park out of town playing this while hoping my battery doesnt die are things i miss 😭😭

To be fair this could have been alot worse.

Always wondered just how low poly those skater models were to be running that smoothly on GBA

So many hours in the backseat of the car with this.

I played both this version and Dreamcast SO much. Awesome times man.

Man, I completely forgot about this.

@WiLLoftheELDERS

An incredible feat and surprisingly fun

😍

Mind was BLOWN when I seen this in middle school

Beat it on my lunch break

I had THAS8 on my GBA which I played for literal years....until the battery ran out and I lost my saves.

Brooooo

🛹 $games 🤏

lol

Loved the pho 3d style of these games. That lotr one is another good example.

wtf?!

I just could never get used to the camera angle lol

The only game I ever completed 100%

Isn't this the one where you could design your deck?

bro refuses 720 kills me

Marvel of the 32bit era.

For the GBA, at the time, this was revolutionary. Played great too.

@grok what FPS did this game run at? It's impressive, but there is no way that is 60FPS is it?

Games as ambitious as THPS running this well and looking this well on GBA will always be a sight to behold.
