Tony Williams redefined what a drummer could be.

People don’t talk enough about how revolutionary Tony Williams was. A teenager who completely changed the game of drumming forever alongside Miles Davis. Absolute genius and a true monster behind the kit 🔥👑

I saw Tony play LIVE at the Catalina Bar & Grill in L.A. in 93. I sat right next to his kit. AMAZING night! but I was deaf for a few days after. 😂 that man was a force of nature!

And looked sharp doing it!

😍🥁🎼🔝‼️

Brillant 💯

@PurpleDogTweets A beast!

Tony Williams is the drums. Dynamics, accuracy in shots at any speed. Never repetitive, and he left us too soon.

Can really see influence he had on Jon Theodore on this piece. I could easily mistake this for a Volta Jam.

Geeeyyyooottt damn! lol what a freaking drum solo!

🔥

Quando 4 fenomeni del genere ti dedicano un album (capolavoro assoluto!), devi aver lasciato un segno indelebile nella storia della musica.
