A few big upgrades for Chrome users today! We’re bringing the power of computer use to anyone who uses Chrome. First up: ChatGPT can now use your tabs in Chrome to make answers more useful and get things done for you. If you’re in Chat, it can look across your open tabs and gather info. If you’re in Work, ChatGPT can control your Chrome tabs to get things, like sending messages, filling out forms, or downloading files. It can even help you organize and group that pile of tabs you have open.

PSA: You can vibe code your own "New tab" page in Chrome. I have turned mine into the ultimate solution to the "too many tabs" problem - See all your tabs with clear titles, grouped by domain - Closing any tab gives you "swoosh" sound and confetti effect 🎊 - "Easy wins" grouped together: homepages, localhost tabs... batch-close them with one click - Duplicate tabs detected; close duplicates with one click - For tabs you're not done with, save it for later in a checklist This is the Marie Kondo method for browser tabs Open-sourced the code below

If you have too many tabs in Chrome, I have something that may help! It’s a feature called Vertical Tabs, which moves tabs from a horizontal strip on the top of the browser to a vertical panel on the left. This ensures that you can always read the title of the tab, even if you have lots of them open. When I posted about it a few weeks ago, hundreds of people messaged me asking how to set it up, so I recorded a quick 2-minute video to show you. Check it out and I look forward to your feedback!

What I love about the updates we’re making to Copilot Mode in Edge today is how it meets you right where you left off across all your tabs, helping you pick up the thread, and even completing multi-step actions for you. Take a look.

Dia’s most popular feature (so far) is chatting with your tabs. Chat with a YouTube video. Chat with a FigJam board. Chat with Google Calendar. The killer feature here is the automatic context from your tabs. No copy-and-pasting. No need to set context, Dia just knows.

↪️ Switch between devices Send tabs from your laptop to your phone (or vice versa) with your exact scroll position and your progress saved so you can pick up right where you left off.
