Just one the roar. They didn't see him o, they just heard the roar. From the roar, they knew how powerful he is. They all left the food and ran away. I saw the video and I realized how it makes so much sense that lions don't reign too long in their prime. The maximum time a lion will reign for is just about 6 years.
