NEW: Texas man gets 45 years in prison after stealing over 200 LEGO sets from dozens of Target stores A 28-year-old Texas man has been sentenced to 45 years in prison for his role in a large-scale organized retail theft operation targeting LEGO sets. Winston Love was convicted of stealing more than 200 LEGO sets from over 23 Target stores across North Texas and Oklahoma between late 2024 and early 2025, with the total value exceeding $30,000. He was arrested in Watauga after a $1,200 theft. At the time of his arrest, police found narcotics and over $5,000 in cash. Prosecutors said Love used a deadly weapon during the thefts and endangered law enforcement while trying to escape. In addition to the 45-year prison sentence, a Tarrant County jury also fined him $10,000.
