Top Causes of Death (1950-2026)

Cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and chronic respiratory diseases really dominate this list. The gap is huge.

Cancer, diabetes, and Alzheimer’s & dementia are three that stand out to me, especially seeing how much the numbers have changed over time.

Road injuries, suicide, and drug use disorders are a completely different category, but the numbers are still surprisingly high.
