Earth is usually associated with rock dirt sand, so it makes complete sense that she would be nervous crossing the iceberg cause if she fell she would’ve drowned good thing Suki was there to save her

people love calling toph the strongest earthbender ever but let’s be real put any earthbender on pure ice with zero solid ground and they’re just as helpless this isn’t a toph specific weakness it’s earthbending’s biggest blind spot and nobody talks about it

You guys know they is earth underneath the water right? Like she could easily hold a whole library from sinking but cannot bring two pieces of dirt from the bottom and make them float? Like she already does that in land why not doing it here

of course if she can sense earth through vibrations why does water specifically erase that ability entirely

This is one reason why Toph is beloved more than characters like Rey. You can't be unstoppable all the time, that's a boring story. Toph can be a badass and still have moments where she needs her friends.

In Colombia, a veterinarian could not remain indifferent to injured and needy cats she found on the streets. Over time, as she treated and adopted them, the number of cats she cared for in her home reached 15. One day, as she was leaving home for work, she hurried out without fully realizing that she had left the door open. She spent the day at work, but all the while thinking about her cats. However, when she returned home after her shift, she was met with a sight she would never forget… The cats she had adopted had taken advantage of the opportunity and brought in every stray cat they could find on the streets of Colombia into the house. The home had suddenly turned into a kind of “cat sanctuary.” The woman could not hide her shock at what she saw 🤣

Lady shares the moment her client asked for thicker braids after she was already halfway done with her hair and insisted she cut it and start again. As if she was sleeping while the hairstylist was braiding her hair, she suddenly said she didn’t want that style anymore and wanted thicker braids instead. She kept insisting that since she had paid, she could request anything she wanted. The hairstylist was in sh0ck that it was really happening. No matter how much she tried to explain, the client kept insisting she wanted a new one and that the current braids should be cut off. In the end, the hairstylist had no choice but to do what she asked.

I don’t even know the right word to use for that woman.🥹 The quiet type, the shy type. She doesn’t talk too much, but somehow she controls everything just with her eyes. One look from her and you already understand. She will do anything to protect me. Anything. She lost her husband (my dad) when she was just around 31 or 32. Still very young. Still in her prime. Many people in that situation would have chosen to remarry and start another life. But she didn’t, She chose us. She used the rest of her youth just to raise us and make sure we were okay. Along the way, she sold almost everything she had worked for in her 20s, just so we wouldn’t suffer. I love her so much. ❤️

She showed up but not for her or to get anything from this, she did it for us, she genuinely wants to say thank you to all of us and when she said she wanted to hug and kiss every single one of us she meant it. She was happy, she was smiling all the time, she had some good laughs and I’m sure she had fun tonight. She’s one of a kind and so is her wonderful mother. #zeudiners #zeudixmadrid #ZeudiFanMeetMadrid

I genuinely cannot understand how someone can watch this story and still stand there, looking at two women, and somehow decide that the wrong one is the victim. On one side, you have a girl (Yıldız) who has been mistreated her entire life. Since the moment she was born, she was treated like a sacrifice for a conflict she was never even part of and later we find out that this conflict never even existed. Her right to study was taken from her. She was pushed into a marriage at a very young age just imagine being six, seven, eight years old, living in fear of being tied to someone you don’t even know. She was treated like a servant in her own home, by the very people she thought were her family. And just when she gets close to the happiness she dreamed of, the man she was engaged to shows up with another wife. She gets mistreated by that wife, by his family, and even (unintentionally) by him, because he was trying to run away from his own feelings, and that only caused her more heartbreak. The whole world was literally against her. She fought through all of that, only to find out in the end that everything she suffered for was based on something that wasn’t even real. Her entire life was built on a lie. That she isn’t even part of that family that she has literally no one in this world. Now on the other side… You have a girl (Melek) who, yes, was taken from her biological mother but she was raised by loving parents. She had everything anyone could wish for: education, freedom, a happy childhood, a healthy environment. She lived her life, fell in love, went out, made choices and no one questioned her, no one controlled her. And then what did she do? She found out that her man was engaged to another woman before marrying her (and even saw him marry her) and instead of holding on to her dignity, she chose to stay, to fight for a man who lied to her, to hold onto a marriage he tried to end multiple times. She used her unborn child to keep him tied to her. She lied constantly, and her excuse was that she was “protecting her marriage” a marriage that was already broken from the moment Serhat removed that ring at the airport in episode one. She tried to hand Yıldız (a woman who had already suffered enough) over to dangerous people. Then she found out the truth about her own birth (that her father ra*ped her mother.)And still no empathy. No moment of humanity toward her own mother. All she cared about was herself. And even though none of this had anything to do with Yıldız, she still found a way to blame it on her. Instead of holding her father accountable, she went and made a deal with him to get rid of Yıldız. She literally made a deal with the devil just to hurt Yıldız one more time. And after all of that… you want me to feel sorry for her? You want me to call her a victim? I honestly cannot believe we are living on the same planet with people who see this and still say, “she’s the victim.” Not morally. Not logically. Not emotionally. There is no world where this makes sense. It’s like watching someone clearly cause harm, and still calling them the victim and actually BELIEVING it. #HalefKöklerinÇağrısı

A woman born totally blind had a car wreck and saw for the first time in her life. Not from a hospital bed. From above it. Her name was Vicki. To her, vision was "unknown and unknowable." After the crash she found herself out of her body, looking down at the gurney in the emergency room. At first she was terrified, because she had no idea what seeing even was. Then she recognized the feel of her own long hair, and a ring her father had given her. The two things she had only ever known by touch. "I'm seeing it now. That's the ring. That's my hair. That's me." Her vision during the experience was 360 degrees. She could see in front, behind, left, right, up, and down, all at once. When Dr. Long told her the rest of us only see in a narrow field because of where our eyes sit, Vicki laughed at him. She had no idea sight could be that limited.

A woman was shopping at her local store when she saw a display of recently discounted designer purses. The deals were good but the selection was Millie’s, she was able to get one that she really liked, she was lucky because they only had one in stock. When she left her cart unattended briefly, a young couple took that purse out of her cart. She saw them again at the check out and they clearly acknowledged what they did. They refused to give it back to her and even gloated in her face. Is there anything she can really do at this point, the people didn’t steal technically since the item wasn’t purchased yet?

Sometimes, the people who smile the brightest are carrying stories you would never imagine. You look at Temi and you see joy. You see laughter. You see a girl who is always dancing, always making people laugh, always finding a way to bring light into every room. And you would never guess how much life had already asked of her. She has known hardship. She has known change. She has had to grow through things that came far too early, carry responsibilities she never imagined carrying, and find strength in seasons that could have easily broken her. But somehow, she never let the difficult parts of her story take away her light. That is what makes today so powerful. Because behind the girl we see smiling is a girl who has had to be strong. Behind the laughter is resilience. Behind the carefree spirit is a journey that demanded so much from her, yet somehow she still chose joy. And through it all, she held on to one thing, the belief that she was meant for something greater. She knew she wanted to be a star. She believed there was something in her worth showing the world. And when the opportunity came, she took the risk, even when she wasn't fully ready. She stepped into that house with nothing but a dream and the courage to chase it. And look at her now. The world is finally seeing what she always saw in herself. A star. Not because her journey was easy. Not because life handed her everything. But because through every difficult season, she kept becoming. This is the story of a girl who went through so much and still chose to remain joyful, hopeful and full of life.
