But the economic impact seems to be dramatically behind. There is [a possible] explanation. Back when people were doing pre-training, the question of what data to train on was answered, because that answer was everything. So you don't have to think if it's going to be this data or that data. When people do RL training, they say, 'Okay, we want to have this kind of RL training for this thing and that kind of RL training for that thing.' You say, 'Hey, I would love our model to do really well when we release it. I want the evals to look great. What would be RL training that could help on this task?' Last week, the Government's version of the Occupied Territories passed through the Seanad, and will soon be law. I want to sincerely thank all the campaigners who pushed the Govt so hard, but to also be very clear that this is not enough. It is not the OTB I first tabled in 2018, and by exempting services from the Bill we have failed to show the ambition required. But this is not the end. I used my speech last week to set the record straight on services, and make clear that we will keep going. "I urge the Government to be brave, to accept these amendments, and ban trade in services as international law requires. We cannot just wait on an EU ban that may never come. If we are not successful today, I will be back in this House in September to move legislation to extend the ban to include services. We will keep going as long as we need to – until both our moral and legal obligations are met."

I just asked Jon Rahm on whether he’s had any clarity on the future of LIV Golf and he said he had, but he wouldn’t commit to playing on the league in 2027: “Yes. Well, we’re in contact with them. We know a lot of what’s going on. Not that I can share with you guys right now.” I then followed up that he seemed optimistic: “I’m always optimistic. I mean I play a game for a living.
