Total Control 🚨 Washington Resident Caught Smart Meters Being Installed On Her Home Without Permission After refusing she was sent a warning letter demanding she pay a tariff to keep the old meter & if not paid by a specific date they’re coming back to install a Smart Meter... “So I'm in Washington state. I just ran out and got my mail. And in the mail because I opted out of the smart meter, which they just came in and were putting them on people's houses. I opted out of the smart meter program as it was “optional” two years ago. 3 weeks ago a man is on my property trying to swap the meter. I tell him to leave. Call excel and they confirm I opted out of the smart meter and now they tell me I’ll be charged a tariff plus higher rates for opting out of the smart meter program. What to do? We need power but I refuse to have them monitoring and beyond just power usage. Rolling outages will be next.

I am in Lewis County, WA State. Lewis PUD sent me a letter to shut off my electricity on July 1, 2024, if I do not comply w/ installation of Honeywell AMI (A4RES) Smart Meter. My husband has a medical device to sustain life, which requires electricity ... PUD does not care.

YES… I have been paying extra for years to have an analog meter. In addition to remote control of power on digital meters, the system can also transmit data from INSIDE your house to the grid. We’ve been using electrical lines for years to transport data.

I got a smart meter recently and saw you can download a HDF file with the data so I had the idea of writing a script that could parse that and show the data in a useful manner. However I discovered that someone has already done this and done a really good job on it. The video explains how it works. In simple terms it uses the ESB smart meter data and shows a breakdown of how much data you are using and when and also recommends plans and estimates what each one would cost based on the data. The tool is available at easier to read on Laptop or Tablet or then your phone to Landscape.
