'If you don't trust me, you can tie me up.' This was probably the first movie where audiences sat up and noticed Sharon Stone. The fact that she spends half the movie pummelling Arnie's nuts probably had BDSM fans spitting out their ball gags 2/

The original cut almost got an X-rating for excessive violence. Some violence was trimmed and different camera angles were used to secure the desired R-rating. It's still brutal though. The X-Ray animation was done by hand, using the live-action shots as a reference. 3/

'Two Weeks' Speak to anyone about Total Recall and they usually say, Two Weeks' to you. The name written on the passport of the 'two weeks' lady arriving on Mars is Priscilla Allen, the real name of the actress. 4/

'Consider dat a divorce.' Vic Armstrong (Ford's Indiana Jones stuntman) choreographed the Sharon Stone/Rachel Ticotin fight. Verhoeven said, this is probably the first time in a feature film where we see two women fighting each other normally as opposed to a catfight. 5/

'See You at the Party Richter.' I love the hologram scene. These men shooting would've killed each other in the opening barrage, but that's irrelevant at this point. Michael Ironside must have one of the greatest gruesome death's in cinema history. That's revenge for Scanners.

That was fun! I really enjoyed this movie when it first came out. Arnold was pretty good in this, I thought. But, I love Michael Ironside. I believe I ‘ll give another “go” 👍 You always show movies I haven’t watched in quite awhile, so thanks for putting this together. Always enjoy your work here🥰

Thank you

Great movie. Awesome thread! 🍻

Thank you. It was just a quickie. I could've done more.

Rachel Ticotin. She was a hotty.
