I've played ME3 about 20 times, and the only reason I never play mixed-morality playthroughs is so I don't have to choose between the Quarians and the Geth :D

This is why I defend Mass Effect 3. They put just as much love and work into un-optimal or “bad outcomes” as they did the other routes. They really wanted this game to be a send off to most major choices you made.
