My brother in Christ...

We never have sermons about other faiths in our church meetings. Frankly, we don't have the time, there's too much else to talk about. So whenever I hear about another church that dedicates its precious sermon time to debunking us, I think...that's interesting.

“He isn’t a child of God” *immediately quotes John saying He was the Son of God”

This guy. Yelling into the void about a version of Christ we don’t even believe in. Who does this without even light reading on the topic

They control people with fear and misinformation. It’s the only way they keep their congregations together.

I went to a wedding where the pastor intentionally made it a point to say (I’m paraphrasing but this is basically what he said) “some religions say marriage is meant to be eternal, but we know God has told us marriage is only for this earthly life.” 🤦♂️

Bro clearly hasn’t read the Book of Mormon, especially the title page. 🤦🏻♂️ There is something seriously wrong with these screaming pastors.

Funny how he's telling people what we believe when he's wrong about all of it.

Christianity may have many sects, but the Baptists are clearly the worst.

Worse than Calvinists?

🤔

NO, this baptist pastor is "gone" believing in the Trinity. When will our Protestant and Catholic brothers and sisters understand the biblical Godhead??? (John 17:3).

It would be a lot better if he got our beliefs right. "If you tell that to a Mormon, then they're gone, like they got a lobotomy." Cause we're trying to understand why he thinks it would be some kind of gotchya.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints should have taught us more about how dumb the other sects of Christianity are. We were too busy learning about things like Jesus and his atonement. Could have saved me so much time getting back to the truth.

I wonder if anyone in the congregation familiar with what Mormons actually believe about God was embarrassed for him.

“It’s like they’ve been given a lobotomy” *right after they make the same stupid argument critics of the Church have made for the last 196 years demonstrating they haven’t read anything* Seriously stop being gay and stupid and we might have more interest interacting with you

It's amazing how much the First Vision alone begins to clear things up rather than inventing the trinity from random bible verses and 7 different councils fighting over the nature of God.

What an ignorant fool. If I was there I would stand up and yell YOU'RE WRONG.

It’s hard to take any preacher seriously when they have a backdrop that still has the package creases showing

He is being so condescending to his own congregation.. “now this is a complicated one” 🙄

Beginning of sermon: He was not a child of God Rest of the sermon: Jesus said God was His Father; Jesus was the Son of God ok bud

Yelling scripture at people is apparently a good way to get them not to notice that the Holy Spirit is not confirming your words

Luke 2:52 — “And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.” “Increased” means he had room to grow.

I guarantee this paid preacher just lost some paying members to the LDS church recently. He’s pissed. Gotta do some damage control from the pulpit.

Sir this is a Wendy’s

I'd like to ask the pastor if God is his Father.

I don’t want to go to church and have the pastor tell me why the Mormon church isn’t true. 😑

what now?

This was pretty funny. He contradicted his own beliefs with the scriptures he shared while trying to downplay ours.

I'm tired of this rhetoric from them.

How do you beget yourself? Oh. Sorry. Mystery. Should have known

He’s afraid of losing his income. He’s paid for preaching. Apparently, the standards have been lowered considerably.

“Mormon Jesus” is a threat to his revenue.

I prefer this Baptist pastors talk

I like how the very first scripture he cited said “Son of God” It really removes any doubt.
