Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly considering leaving Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr in the summer, with a return to Europe or a move to the MLS considered potential options. The 40-year-old, who, on a contract worth £488,000 per day, is the highest-paid footballer in history, began a strike earlier this week. Ronaldo is claimed to unhappy with the manner in which Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF) is handling Al-Nassr's finances, particularly in comparison to how they are treating rival clubs. The PIF controls a 75 per cent stake in four Saudi Pro League clubs — Al-Ahli, Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal and Ronaldo's Al-Nassr — and has been the driving force behind the league's ability to attract some of world football's biggest names on lucrative contracts. Al-Hilal completed the signing of Ronaldo's former Real Madrid team-mate Karim Benzema on Monday, moving from fellow Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad. Al-Hilal are currently one point clear of Ronaldo's Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, with the veteran Portuguese star said to believe his club have not been treated fairly in the transfer market. It’s hard for me to fathom a country can infiltrate thousands of electronics to detonate simultaneously yet were ‘blindsided’ when people parachuted into a music festival and use that as an excuse for every immoral action and innocent life taken. The technological juxtaposition does not make sense and clearly is used as a bullshit tactic to brainwash idiots. Kids are not safe to use their tablets, tetas are not safe to call their expatriate children to let them know they’re safe or not, no one is safe around not-real. Yet again, I sit here writing a caption about how horrible an apartheid state is, and yet again I’ll be here writing a caption about another horrible act committed next month. Only one country has the ultimate right to defend itself, every other country (especially non-white ones) deserves whatever comes to them. Yallah I’ll talk to y’all next month with another video that is used to pull views so people read the caption

For the legal/lawyer folks This script was sold years ago when I had less leverage at the negotiating . standard recoup to release rights is the studio gets back every dollar they put into it. BUT even if those terms were met, the studio still gets to decide whether or not to greenlight the recoup. If you got front of the kilo, then decide that you wanted to get out the dope game, the dope boy still has to decide whether or not he wants to accept the terms of your exit. Because my careers at a different point now, they know that this script has a pretty good chance of getting some motion so now (well within the terms of the original contract) they trying to arrange new terms to release the script so they can get a pinch of whatever I make off of it. I wish you all could be on the calls where we negotiate the terms of these contracts with entertainment lawyers. Shit ain’t as clear cut as y’all trying to make it in these comments . And on top of THAT, truth be told a lot of studios don’t give ideas back because if the idea gets hot somewhere else, the exact that left the ideal walk out the door is going to lose their job. Im not even trippin. It’s all in the game. I not giving them a pinch of McDonald’s…I’m about to go and write McDowells. I got enough ideas to write me a hunnid scripts…sheeeiitt

The first three were purpose-built training vessels for Germany with Mircea built for Romania. After the war, the German vessels were redistributed as reparations. Gorch Fock II was built as a replacement for Gorch Fock I in the 1950s. Unfortunately, Gorch Fock I is no longer seaworthy and currently resides in Stralsund as a museum. The last time all these ships saw one another was for the 🇺🇸 Bicentennial in 1976. Gorch Fock II claimed the Five Sisters Cup then, but who will claim it in the days ahead?

New Restaurant Next: The McDonald's two-window setup (cash/present) has been a core foundation of our drive-thru for probably over 40 years. It looks like it may be changing. The new design is shifting to a one-window setup with a pull-forward window (with conveyor belt, see post below). New LED signage can direct cars to which window their order will be at. My operations hat is still churning in my head on this but I’m open to it if it’s customer focused & easier! Notice the new scales built into the assembly area as you look in the window to help ensure accuracy. #McDWW26

From International Space Station, we have a unique vantage point to observe lightning storms from directly above them. Much like from the ground, they appear as rapid, intense flashes that are over as quickly as they started. But, with the help of handheld cameras and a bit of practice (and, admittedly, some luck), we can capture these intense flashes with a very high frame rate then slow them down to see how the lightning propagates. It's lightning, in slow motion. This is one that occurred over Indonesia on 6/28. I shot it for a half second at 1/120 frame rate, so, 60 separate frames. I then compiled those frames into two videos: the first, in real-time, and the second, slowed down so that each frame is a half second to highlight the progression of the flash. Note the incredible burst of light in one frame, which includes what is likely a TLE on the upper left. A TLE, or Transient Luminous Event, is an electrical discharge that happens in the upper atmosphere above lightning storms (if you haven’t seen Ferry Farhan TLE photo from last week, head over to her page). As their name implies, these are transient, or short lived, phenomena – it appeared in only one frame of the sequence, lasting for no more than 1/120th of a second. The last photo is that single frame. Absolutely incredible.

#KRamp - Not liking a film is perfectly fine but a section of ‘early review’ media used the harshest of words in their reviews, as if they have some ‘grudge’ on the people associated with the movie. ‘No one can stop a film which offers genuine laughs’, this point is proved yet again. The good news is, proving the naysayers wrong, the film’s revenue has doubled compared to day one and is all set to perform even better utilising the festival holidays. As things stand today, the film is on track to become a clean hit. The scale and span of both films may be different. But K-Ramp and Waltair Veerayya, have a lot of similarities. Both the films offered mass comedy, both the films were reviewed harshly by the early reviewers and both the films became/set to become profitable ventures for all the involved parties.

You have to be really dumb to misinterpret this and then set your own supposed fave up at the same time All Jimin did here was to encourage Tae, who was the MC, to wrap up the dinner with a message to ARMYs. Jungkook agreed with Jimin and told everyone else to stay quiet so Tae could do his ment alone (adding a new rule to what Jimin said). After which Jimin again repeated what Jungkook just said about letting Tae speak alone. It was Yoongi who said not to add pressure. Trying so hard to portray Jimin as a bad guy here does nothing but claim the same about Jungkook, who not only agreed with him, but also doubled down and added another rule so no one else could comment or help Tae with his speech. But like always they dgaf as long as they can twist things to hate on Jimin. TRUST BROKEN. A 37-year-old youth softball coach in Magnolia, Texas just got arrested. Nathan Scott Velez allegedly spent weeks chatting online with who he thought was a 15-year-old girl. He asked for nudes, talked sex acts, and tried to set up a meet. It was a detective the whole time. He coaches little girls in Montgomery County. He works as a lineman for a tech company. Now he faces a third-degree felony, two to ten years, and up to ten grand in fines. Here is the honest cut: We hand our kids over to coaches, teachers, and mentors every season and pray they are safe. Then we see cases like this and realize too many predators hide right in plain sight in trusted roles. Parents sign them up for softball to build confidence and stay active, not to worry about the man running practice. Law enforcement did their job with this sting. Good. But one arrest does not fix the bigger pattern. We need real vetting, real consequences, and communities that stop looking the other way when something feels off.
