During his historic visit to New Zealand, PM Sh Narendra Modi Ji, while addressing the Indian community in Auckland, paid heartfelt tribute to the timeless teachings of our Sikh Guru Sahibs and the rich traditions of our faith like Langar Seva performed by Gurdwara Sahibs and Sikhs all over the world. PM Modi Ji’s deep respect and affection for the Sikh community are reflected in several visionary initiatives undertaken during his leadership. From strengthening Sikh heritage sites, opening of the Sri Kartarpur Sahib Corridor in 2019, befitting celebration of 550th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, 350th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, 400th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, removal of GST from Langar Seva & FCRA approval for donations and providing better connectivity to holy sites of Sikhism, to declaring December 26 as Veer Baal Diwas, among several other initiatives. Modi Ji also personally ensured the safe passage of the sacred Swaroops of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and the accompanying Sikh delegation from Kabul to Delhi in 2021 when I was immensely blessed to perform seva of the holy Swaroops upon their arrival in Delhi. Jai Jai Nandigram Today, before proceeding to submit my nomination papers as the BJP nominated Candidate for the Nandigram Assembly Constituency, I offered Puja to the divine Baba Bholanath at the Reyapara Shiva Temple. After paying my respects at the feet of Mahadev Baba and seeking His blessings, I participated in the Vijay Sankalp Sabha in Haldia in the presence of the Hon'ble Union Education Minister; Shri Dharmendra Pradhan Ji. Thereafter, accompanied by Shri Dharmendra Pradhan Ji and former State President Shri Dilip Ghosh, and thousands of enthusiastic BJP West Bengal Karyakartas and Supporters, we participated in a grand procession and marched towards the Haldia SDO Office and filed my Nomination. The people of West Bengal are eager to free themselves from the misrule and autocratic governance of the Trinamool Congress. The undefeated spirit and enthusiasm shown by the thousands of workers who joined today’s procession make it crystal clear that the BJP along with the people of West Bengal is fully prepared to liberate the state from the misrule of the Trinamool Congress. On 4th May, the farewell journey of Trinamool Congress Govt will begin from the Martyrs' land of Nandigram and will culminate in Bhabanipur.
