Tough choices cannot be code for cuts. People do not understand why a government would choose to pick the pocket of pensioners and ignore a #WealthTax.

Surely you understand? That’s why you supported Starmer et al, even when all the red flags and warning signs were in plain sight. You had an easy choice to make. Neoliberalism over socialism. You chose the former. Now own it.

Sharon Graham has got a tough choice to make. Stick with Labour and fund a government that is going to hurt the poor and the old rather than tax the rich or take away the money the union gives Labour and use it to fund others who will help your members and the weakest in society.

Cut the funding Sharon, how about the unions actually act and not just say words

People do not understand why a union leader would choose to support a government that picks the pocket of pensioners, drives children into poverty via the two child benefit cap and supports "without qualification" a genocidal campaign against the children of Palestine.

A great deal of work went into the Labour election malifesto to avoid any hint of their plans leaking out. The file containing the details now has a large red diagonal cross on the front cover. Some Civil Servant may recognise that as "Top Secret - Embarrassment Risk"

Labour now talking about taking away the single person council tax discount, bus passes for pensioners, & Reeves talking about hitting the unemployed & the disabled. Talk all you like about picking the pockets of pensioners, but continuing to fund them says you support just that.

Come off it, you're a closet centrist working for Labour and always have been. You have no intention of doing or changing anything, this is all performative. What's your next move? Write another stern tweet so people think you're doing your job?

It is disingenuous to say that people who voted Labour voted for this @SophyRidgeSky. Many critics of Labour leadership because of their pre-election austerity rhetoric were told we were traitorous and would be letting the Tories in. 1/2

If you’re surprised that Starmer’s done this, it’s proof that you’ve ignored everything you were told before the election. @BeckettUnite would never have supported Starmer. Withdraw funding.
