Tough conversation time in Tennessee

Lot of people reminding me Tim banks is the safeties coach. Pretty sure if you aren’t firing him as DC, you need to fire him as safeties coach. Or maybe see what Willie Martinez is up to.

@Vol_Football @VolsCoachHeupel Last year’s stats look great, but a lot of that had to do with the schedule. They played 11 regular season games against FBS competition. 6 of those 11 teams had offenses ranked 75th or worse. Only three games against teams in the top 50.

@Vol_Football @VolsCoachHeupel Something not a lot people know is that DL Rodney Garner had done a PHENOMENAL job, and is why our defense was so good last year. Another huge problem UT faces is that he may be heading back to his alma mater Auburn next year...

This didnt help: We lost 3 of our top 4 corners, 2 of which were arguably top 3 defenders on team. Not only is that decimating in the portal era, it’s also a lot of allocated money not getting to help the D

@MichaelWBratton @Vol_Football @VolsCoachHeupel The biggest mistake made this offseason was not attacking the transfer portal to get "older" at key positions. We got some good young talent but they weren't ready to step into a lead role yet. Dline wasn't good and LB was bad too. I'd eliminate the whole defensive staff

@Vol_Football @VolsCoachHeupel Heuple does not have time bc he wont let go of someone. When Golesh left it caused this problem. Promoted a guy that wasn’t ready to be a OC & now won’t fire him. Same at RB & DB pos. Db pos done less w/ more. Way to many guys in the NFL to give up yards that many yards.
