Why does Shanahan get more blame for 28-3 than Dan Quinn?

Shanahan has lost two Super Bowls and that’s bad, It’s wild that he is the only coordinator in history to get blamed for a Super Bowl loss when the head coach should get the blame plus the head coach was the defensive coordinator that blew the lead.

He called an absolutely terrible game in the second half. Three straight 3 & outs…the first one in great field position…and you call 8 pass plays & only 1 run with the Offensive Player of the Year on your team against a KC defense that’s susceptible against the run. Inexcusable

up 10-3, Mahomes throws an INT. Need 1 first down to be in fg range and CMC doesn't touch the ball once resulting in a 3 and out. Then more of the same the rest of the 2nd half

Shanahan has the most talented roster in the league and couldn’t get it done. His team didn’t even know the playoff OT rules. 😬

As a head coach he lost 2 super bowls to Mahomes and Reid and he is the big game loser. Ironically Reid was the original big game loser and passed it on when he got Mahomes.

Dissect the first 3 drives in the 3rd .. that’s why they lost

Andy Reid had similar struggles before he broke through with thr best qb in the league. Kyle needs to learn to adjust better and do much better with game management. He routinely took CMC and motioned him out of the backfield which took away any run threat.

Did you also realize the 49 defense had just come off an extended stand on regular time. I would not have put them right back on the field based on that. That is what went through my mind when he made the call.
