🇺🇸ANNABELLE DIDN’T DO IT - GHOST HUNTER’S DEATH RULED NATURAL Dan Rivera, veteran paranormal investigator and full-time Annabelle wrangler, died suddenly at 54 during his Devils on the Run tour - and social media instantly blamed the doll. Rivera was found unresponsive in a Gettysburg hotel on July 13, just hours before another stop on the tour that paraded the infamous Annabelle doll across the country like cursed cargo. But the coroner confirmed what ghost-hunters didn’t want to hear: it wasn’t the doll. Rivera died of cardiac-related natural causes - and yes, Annabelle wasn’t even in the room. For the unfamiliar: Annabelle is a supposedly haunted Raggedy Ann doll that Ed and Lorraine Warren locked behind glass in their Occult Museum after claiming it was possessed by a demonic entity. In the 1970s, two nurses reported the doll moving, leaving notes, and attacking guests - classic horror fodder that inspired The Conjuring franchise and turned Annabelle into a viral icon of paranormal doom. Despite decades of “do not touch” warnings, Rivera helped take her out of her sealed case earlier this year for a national tour. Cue panicked fans, conspiracy threads, and viral videos blaming the doll for everything from 911 outages to natural disasters. Rivera leaned into the hype - even staining the doll’s case with holy water and embedding crosses into it - but insisted the point was education, not fear-mongering. His death sparked mourning in the paranormal world, but also a fresh wave of paranoia. The truth? The curse didn’t strike. His heart did. Source: Daily Mail

Following SAXON’s June announcement with regards to Biff’s emergency procedure we would like to share with you a special message from Biff for fans as to his ongoing recovery from cancer and all he has been going through since his recent diagnosis following the band’s Japanese tour in late April. Biff also discusses the postponement of SAXON’s imminent French and Spanish shows until April and May of next year while he undergoes a short period of chemotherapy but has been told by doctors that his prognosis going forward is positive. All tickets will remain valid for the new rescheduled dates which will be announced on SAXON’s socials imminently. Sadly, Biff’s treatment also impacts on the band’s forthcoming festival performances at both Trutnoff Open Air, with the band’s appearance later this month having to be cancelled, and Neuborn Open Air, also later this month, now postponed until the festival’s 2026 edition. Biff would like to reassure fans that both the band’s special Hell, Fire and Steel UK & Ireland Tour this November will be going ahead as planned along with SAXON’s headline performance at Metal Hammer Paradise in Lübeck, Germany. The band’s Hell Fire and Steel UK Tour is currently close to being SOLD OUT, so fans are advised to grab the last few tickets quickly to avoid disappointment, as this will be the last opportunity to see SAXON this year in UK and Ireland and to hear the band’s classic Wheels of Steel album played in full for the last time from start to finish. Origins of Rock and Roll, by the almighty Led Zeppelin, According to guitarist Jimmy Page, 'Rock and Roll' developed from a spontaneous jam session that occurred after the band became frustrated while attempting to finish recording "Four Sticks" at the Headley Grange mansion they had rented in Hampshire, England. During a break, John Bonham began playing the drum intro to the 1957 song "Keep A-Knockin'" by Little Richard, to which Page added a Chuck Berry-style guitar riff. The rest of the band members reportedly joined in "one by one." Ian Stewart was also present at the session performing piano. Realizing the potential in the new idea, the band immediately put "Four Sticks" on the "back burner." The tapes were rolling, and after improvising the first section of the song, the basis of the rest of the song was completed in around fifteen minutes. Robert Plant wrote the lyrics, which were a response to critics who claimed their previous album, Led Zeppelin III, wasn't really rock and roll. Led Zeppelin III had more of an acoustic folk sound, and Plant wanted to prove they could still rock out. "We just thought rock and roll needed to be taken on again," he told Creem in 1988. "I was finally in a really successful band, and we felt it was time for actually kicking ass. It wasn't an intellectual thing, 'cause we didn't have time for that - we just wanted to let it all come flooding out. It was a very animal thing, a hellishly powerful thing, what we were doing." Initially, the band called the song "It's Been a Long Time'' but they eventually decided on 'Rock and Roll' which sounds way better and defines the genre with the song itself. SOME TAKEAWAYS FROM SEUNGMIN'S VOICE LIVE: 1) He was cute. The bgm was cute. The yawning was cute. The English was the cutest. 2) He went to the concert of Kenshi Yonezu (Seungmin covered his song Lemon on the Maniac tour) and mentioned how tall he was. I looked it up. The man is apparently 1.88m. The fact that Seungmin pointed it out made me giggle. 3) He refused to talk about the new baseball season. You know what that means. Giants, when will you stop breaking my boy's heart? 4) He mentioned how Cinema was always made with Lee Know in mind and the image of them singing it at a big stadium with Stay. He praised his efforts in singing and pronunciation of English which I also noticed and am glad he brought up. 5) He said all intruments in Cinema were recorded live which is amazing. It's gonna be epic on tour. 6) Oh, yeah he just casually confirmed that they will be performing the unit songs on tour. Because of course he did. Never change Seungmin. 7) He isn't playing around with the fan featuring this time. He gave enough advance notice and directions down to which second of the song the fan featuring starts. Him saying "Got it?" made me laugh more than it should have. 8) He mentioned that the new Song by episode will be unusual and that we can look forward to it. As if I needed the push to look forward to him singing. He was clearly tired but he sounded content. He mentioned his life these days is filled with music and that it will all reach us soon enough. Happy Seungmin with a mic in his hand is enough to put a smile on my face. So glad he came on tonight.

250717 #ATEEZ #Hongjoong reflects on a calm tour, health, and staying safe, TOKTOQ pop (voice) live (rough translation): I’m feeling really good lately, and overall, this tour has been emotionally quite stable for me - in a good way. Normally, during tours, I tend to get sensitive at times and overwhelmed, but this time, from the very beginning, there’s been good news, the members have been in a good mood too, and our new album came out right as the tour began. So I’m approaching everything with a calm mindset and trying to do well. Compared to the last tour, where I had a lot of things on my mind, including things to take care of before and after each show, this tour feels more relaxed. That might be why I’ve been able to try making new intros and explore creatively. As for today… I don’t have any set plans to go out yet, but who knows? If the members or our manager hyungs suggest something, I might go out to eat. But for now, I’m not sure. I’m not really the type to make detailed plans. Also, I’ve been doing core-strengthening exercises lately - not just for stretching, but to prevent body pain. Since we’ve been promoting for a long time now, I think I really need to focus on working out the areas that need support. I’ve been doing that for a while, but just to clarify - core doesn’t only mean abs. It includes the back and waist area too. So I’ve been doing those exercises to avoid getting hurt. And well, there’s nothing specific I have to do today… I just… want to go out if I feel like it. (laughs) I also heard that it’s been raining a lot in Korea lately, and some cities are in danger. I really hope everyone is okay and that nothing serious happens. I sincerely hope all of you stay safe. The weather has become really unpredictable and kind of scary lately. 💬 Favorite American food? 🐿️ Hmm… burger? 💬 Last 8 days until ‘Almost’. 🐿️ Right, ‘Almost’ will be released soon. But honestly, Bradley already spoiled so much that I’m sure you’ve heard a lot of my voice already. Still, once it’s out officially, hearing the full version will hit differently. I’ve actually been a longtime fan of Bradley, and that’s how this collaboration started. Through this, I feel like I’ve witnessed a new power in music while preparing for it. Yeah… something like that. 💬 Can you do a hardstyle intro for ‘NO.1’? 🐿️ (laughs) Anyway, I think it’s time for me to go now. For ATINYs living in Korea, please take care of yourselves and stay safe. If you have friends or family in the southern regions, maybe give them a call or check in. When you wake up in the morning… Actually, I spoke with Yunho about it yesterday since he’s from Gwangju. Everyone, please stay careful. Yeah, eat well and sleep well, everyone. See you soon. Thank you so much. Thank you. In Korea, there is so much rain now, so yeah, take care. See ya. Bye-bye. Gu-Hong, Gu-Hong, Okay, let’s go with Gu-Hong. I’ll do “Hong Hong Hong.” Hong… Hong Hong Hong… HongHong SamSam fighting! Bye-bye! (T/N the translation may contain inaccuracies)
