What’s wild to me is that supporters of Israel argue out in the open, for anyone to hear, that Israel should be an ethno state. Are people not understanding what that means? This is the exact and definition of racism. What is the message, what is the precedent when the world stands behind a government with racism baked in to the laws? I can’t think of any country in 2026 that has this. They would be the most racist and primary example of a racist state in the world. Was this not a huge part of what the entire world rallied to fight against in World War II? Will the racism is pretty good sometimes argument not end in another world war? I think it’s obvious.

This is why they pound into your head “Israel has a right to defend itself”. It paints the picture of victims and used to elicit sympathy. The question for pro-Israel liberals is, do the Palestinians have the right to defend themselves with armed resistance as intl law allows?
