OK so Seymour thinks we should triage medical need without reference to ethnicity. While that may appeal to some, in reality it means taking a less efficient path to find the same group of needful patients. We don't check women for prostate cancer. We could, in the interests of equality, but it's more efficient to accept that discrimination by sex, age, ethnicity gets us a better process. His examples are simplistic. There are good arguments for varied access pathways to medical resources.
