I said Rachel Reeves’ first Budget would go down as one of the most anti-business Budgets in history and that Rachel Reeves would be the destroyer of jobs. Sadly, I was right. Rachel Reeves may now be gone, but her legacy remains: more than 200,000 jobs lost, higher taxes and weaker business confidence. Britain needs a Government that backs business, not punishes it.
