Today, we say farewell to one of the most valued people in Acend. Krimson has been there from the very first day. Long before we rebranded from RYE Gaming to Acend. He started as PUBG coach for RYE Gaming in 2019 and moved up into management. He helped us build our Valorant World Championship team, scouted other successful rosters in Apex and Halo, and put together our Valorant Rising Squad that established themselves as Top 3 in EU consistently. He always adapted well to the ever-changing landscape in esports, grew in other roles, and responsibilities. Krimson has been extremely loyal to the organization, very reliable, and hard-working. He stuck with us until today no matter the hardship. Unfortunately, he asked to step down. To have a change, to explore the world outside of esports, which we fully respect. Esports is not easy and it is a surprise he stayed for so long. Today, esports loses an extremely diligent, hardworking, and loyal personality. Something esports desperately need. We fully understand the frustrations that esports brings and fully support his decision. We wish him nothing but the best. We will stay in touch and, of course, hope for his return. I don’t know what is more sad. 1) That this girl may actually think that Bin Laden was right or good or 2) That she will now have this video attached to her for the next 60+ years. Here’s EVERYTHING you need to know about warm up sets: Most people are doing warm up sets ALL wrong and they’re costing themselves from an efficiency/effectiveness standpoint as a result Warm ups are designed to A) guard against injury B) prepare you for your working sets Warm up sets should NEVER be taken in close proximity to failure…most should see you leaving 6, 7, 8+ reps in reserve (the lone exception to this = sets performed for 1-2 reps @ ~90+ of your intended working weight) This is in STARK CONTRAST to working sets which should all end around 0-2 RIR You probably need about ~2 warm up sets before your first exercise or two depending on the specifics of your programming Here is an example of a typical warm up protocol: - a 5-10 minute brisk walk on the treadmill (optional) - 50% of your working weight on your first exercise for ~12 reps (mandatory) - 75% of your working weight on your first exercise for ~6 reps (mandatory) - 90% of your working weight on your first exercise for ~2 reps (optional) After you complete the working sets for your first exercise, you may want to repeat the last 3 steps prior to performing your next exercise IF it is an antagonist exercise (Ex: Lat Pull-Down after Sternal Pecs Machine Press OR Seated Leg Curls after Hack Squats) After that, you probably don’t need any additional warm up sets unless you are just using them as “primers” (sets to make sure your movement pattern / the machine settings / etc. are on point) - If doing a PUSH workout, I’m probably using 2-3 warm up sets before my first exercise only (assuming it’s a multi joint movement) - If doing a PULL workout, I’m probably using 2-3 warm up sets before my first exercise only (assuming it’s a multi joint movement) - If doing an UPPER workout, I’m probably using 2-3 warm up sets before my first exercise and 1-2 warm up sets before my second exercise (assuming they’re antagonist multi joint movements) - If doing an LOWER workout, I’m probably using 2-3 warm up sets before my first exercise and 1-2 warm up sets before my second exercise (assuming they’re antagonist multi joint movements) - If doing a FULL BODY workout, I’m probably using 2-3 warm up sets before my first exercise, 1-2 warm up sets before my second exercise, and may even 1-2 warm up sets before my third and fourth exercises as well (assuming they’re all multi joint movements — antagonist push/pull movements for both upper & lower) (As you can see, the major downside of FULL BODY workouts is often the excess warm up time needed — this is why they work best for beginners much of the time) General rule of thumb: If your first set of an exercise is NOT your best set of that exercise in terms of performance (assuming we equate RIR), you are NOT warming up properly You should see a fall off in performance as sets transpire on a given exercise…this is a feature, not a bug of productive/effective resistance exercise WHEN WARMED UP PROPERLY

On Steve Jobs and soul and instinct and fear and breaking through: 1. I realized I need to meet people with real talent and then all I gotta do is not get thrown out of the f*cking room. 2. I met with a bunch of tech companies and Steve was the only one that had soul. I told him I wanted to build this headphone company and Steve said: “You can do it.” 3. When I used to run companies I just woke up every day and did everything by my instinct. 4. You don't have to understand something fully to do it. I'm proof of that. I don't understand f*cking anything. But I know how to get things done. I know how to hustle. I'm willing to work harder than the next guy. 5. For a lot of people fear stops them. For the people that succeed, fear propels them forward. You need to learn how to harness fear because fear is energy. 6. Your job is to figure out a way around the gatekeeper. 7. If I see something new and great and unusual, I just can't stop. 8. If you know what you have is going to stick and if you’re passionate about it —then just break through that wall. There’s going to be a lot of resistance. But if it sticks, you win.

I am the person practice Law of Attraction many years and I do see a lot of change in my life! I believe everything can change to better after we change our heart and our mindset. On the way to Pi success journey, all our community should work together and help each other. Because we are on the same boat. We use our heart on it and we love it and it is in our life and it is our light and hope! Nobody want it fail. I read a story about a bird who has two heads share one body. But one head jealous another head and hate it. So he seduce the other head to eat a poisoned fruit. He is very happy to see the other head die. But after a few minutes, his head feel very painful and died too. I use the story to describe our poineers community. We should understand how to make Pi succes. If you hurt other poineers community, actually it will hurt your community too. I have no discrimiation on different price and respect all Pi Communities. However I would like all pioneers understand why we call GCV, it is not because ourselves greedy. It is because Pi need to start from high price to protect it on open mainnet. We all know a lot of pioneers come from the bottom of our society. They are in hardship, they even cannot afford food and place to live. And these kinds of pioneers has occupied most community. Nobody can prevent them to sell Pi becuase they are Pi holders. They need to survive, this is also the reason why there are a lot under table exchange to FIAT. Even 0.85$ or maybe 0.01$ they will sell Pi. What will happen, if the price is this low? I don't think this price can make eco develpe well. I talked with a Chinese mall rep, he told me many merchants hesitate to put their high value products on the mall is because the price big difference. If they use a price, then pioneers barter and sell in a lower price mall. It will hurt these merchants. This is the reason most merchant won't put high value products. How about the low consensus price bartered by pioneers? Yes, the merchant get a lot of Pi. However they still cannot survive if close mainnet more than 3 months-6 months. The pioneers will used up all his Pi. Then Pi has no relationship with him/her. For myself I have no Pi to use even if I have all basic coin and security circle migrated. All has been locked for 3 years. Now I changed to 90% so I only have 9 Pi in 2-3 years after almost 1 years mining. All bonus Pi cannot use now. before price united. Another thing I want to address again! No need to worry KYC! If you are real person you can pass in 5 min! Many don't want to do anything is because they don't believe they can pass KYC. You must understand Price is the root of eco. Eco healthy can make all KYC open! This is the only thing you don't need to worry.
