This man does all he can to save money while he’s out with his kids. People have been criticizing him for being a party of 6 and tipping based on what he spent. So he interviews his server before he pays and tips to confirm that the server is okay with a 20 percent tip, but let’s remind ourselves it’s only going to be 20 percent of $28. So essentially he’s suggesting he tips $6 for that server to serve 6 people. The server isn’t going to be rude and say that the man’s frugalness will affect his til and that it’s not fair in this instance to base his tip on the dollar amount spent, that it should’ve based on serving 6 people. I have no issue with people wanting to save money but shouldn’t they remember that their frugalness affects others too?
