Fox News’ Trace Gallagher: “If [Iran] backs out again, are they done?” President Trump: “If they back out again, they're going to get hit really hard. They know that; they understand that. I have no choice. They can't have a nuclear weapon. It's very simple.” “It should have been done by many presidents over many years and it wasn’t.” “Obama was taken to the cleaners. He thought he could bribe his way out, and he gave them billions, tens of billions of dollars. So stupidly. $1.7B in cash, green cash.” “You can’t bribe your way out. All you can do is fight your way out.”

Trump’s Demand for Return of U.S. Military Equipment from Afghanistan It’s their form of a military parade, and it makes me angry when I see that. Angry. When I see that, I get angry. You know, we give them I don’t think anyone knows this. We give Afghanistan about 2 or 2 and a half billion dollars yet. Do you know that? For aid. Aid. We need aid ourself. We give and I’m gonna go back and, I told them yesterday, I wanna look at it, but if we’re gonna give them money, it’s okay. But I want them to give us back our military equipment that they have. They’re selling it. Doug, would you take that, please? Alright. Write something up. No. I want them to give back. If we’re gonna give them that kind of money, let them give back the military equipment, which, they have where they have tanks and trucks and guns and goggles. They have goggles. They have night goggles. Better than we have. Brand new right out of the box. It’s unbelievable. So I wanna do that, and I want the, if we’re gonna pay him, I wanna get that equipment back. Okay? Doug can do it. He’s one of the guys. He’s a business guy. They hear me sitting there saying, how the hell did this ever happen? Right? Can you believe it? We give them billions of dollars and we gave them our military equipment. Just tremendous numbers of billions of dollars worth of milli billions and billion.

Johnson: If I felt like the executive branch had overstepped on tariffs, I would’ve stepped in. That’s my job. I would’ve done it in my own way, I would’ve gone to the President privately. I wouldn’t have done it publicly. That conversation didn’t happen because I believe what he’s done is well within the bounds

DOOCY TIME: “So, since Liberation Day, there’s about $175 billion in tariff revenue that is now in limbo. Do you have to refund $175 billion of it?” President Trump: “Well, think of, it — think of it, Peter. Very fair question. They take months and months to write an opinion and they don’t even discuss that point. We’ve taken in hundreds of billions of dollars, not millions, hundreds of billions of dollars. And so, I said, well, what happens to all the money that we took in? It wasn’t discussed. Wouldn’t you think they would have put one sentence in there saying that, keep the money or don’t keep the money, right? I guess it has to get litigated for the next two years. So, they write this terrible, defective decision, totally defective. It’s almost like not written by smart people. And what they do, they don’t even talk about it. Your question is very basic. That was the first question I asked also to make you feel good. I said, what about all the money that we’ve taken in? Sir, they don’t discuss that. How crazy is that?”

President Trump just implied that Jerome Powell has potentially been committing fraud while the renovations to the Federal Reserve have been underway 👀 “He’s got some problems… He’s renovating a small building. It’s the most expensive construction job in history - and it’s only a renovation. I could have done that job for $25 million dollars. They’re spending billions of billions of dollars. He either doesn’t know what he’s doing or it’s worse than that - and you know what I mean by ‘worse’.” Damn. Now we know why he is panicking.

Reporter: “What do you make of the Gulf nations meeting with Iran on Monday?” President Trump: “I don't care. That's up to them. That's fine. If they can be happy, you know, as long as Israel, along with the nations that we're talking about, and they're happy. That's fine.” “We'll ultimately get out unless we decide to stay and keep the oil, like Venezuela. You don't talk about Venezuela anymore, do you? Taking in billions and billions and billions of dollars. We paid for the war many times, many, many times. So we'll see.”

Shams & Rich Paul reveal that LeBron met with the Cavs FO in early July: “No one knew about it, and still don’t know about it. It’s not just a bread crumb, it’s a loaf of bread. The meeting with LeBron in Akron with the Cavs front office in early July. Nobody knew about that, this was information i was told. But ethically i couldn’t report, it wasn’t told to me in a way that someone could double check and triple check it. It was off the record, so if i reported that it would’ve been unethical. I have to do this job the right way, if it’s told off the record it’s not reportable. If it were something that got out in real time, people would’ve been led on. And we know how much LeBron means to Cleveland.” - Shams Charania Rich Paul

Trump mocks Macron again: I said, “Emmanuel, you’re gonna have to lift your (drug) price by double or triple.” “No way, I will not do that, Donald. Why would I do that? I would be out of business.” I said, “No, you’re gonna do it, 100%.” “No, no, no, I will not do that. I will not do that!” “Yes, you will. YOU’RE GONNA DO IT!” And he said, “No, no…” And I said, “Here’s the story: If you don’t do it, I’m gonna put a 100% tariff on all of the wine and champagne that you sell into the United States.” And you know what he said? “I will do it! I will gladly do it!”
