Never board a train going to Bihar or coming from Bihar. You won’t be able to use Washrooms, constant fear of theft etc . I have personally witnessed this.

We experienced it in Bihar in 1988 itself in reserved compartment. I held the handle tight along with copassengers till train left that station. We closed all windows with shutters & not glass ones. Some how I reached Howrah in one piece.

My parents were travelling from Delhi to Guwahati during 2005 timeframe in 2nd AC. Train reached Bihar and around 4am people started coming inside 2nd AC compartment and started making nuisance. Even the TT was scared to say anything

This is exactly the reason why I don't want to take train to NE because train will be passing through Bihar. Otherwise it would be such a scenic train ride

When you keep reducing the general bogies & regular trains, keep increasing fares, then have zero enforcement putting the people as each other’s adversary is a master strategy. Coz the moment they enforce the rules people will demand ans frm authorities,now they curse each other
