The training is so stupid. You go through that door without killing everything inside first - you are gonna die. Only exception is when you are sneaking in first - and I don't think you are going to be shooting locks and kicking doors - losing advantage 100%.

US training like this is inferior to Russian urban tactics...And isn't even used by the Ukrainians. To top it off most Russian units don't use optics.They're mostly useless in urban or forest gunfights when they fail or get damaged. Urban Warfare isn't a video game.

I love how, in the training, simply shooting the doorknob is going to magically unlock the door.

Meh, shoot the hinges off. The door could be bolted in more than one spot. The hinges are the week spot. They never think to reinforce the hinges.

The first one is so dumb, firstly, why throw a grenade if you don't know what's behind the door, best case scenario they kill two and injure a 2 more, worst case, they blow up important intel, hostages/POW's and give away their position to the entire building

Big true, In Afghanistan we would clear villages and room clearing would turn into peeking in the room prepared for someone to shoot back. Being quiet was much safer than busting in there lock stock and barrel.
