Hmmm I wonder if there's a big event in the 30s and 40s that could have erased trans histroy. Maybe some kinda book burning of some kind would have done it

There has always been a discourse about gender incongruence as long as human civilization has been a thing. Look at the ancient Greek, Roman, Egyptian, and Babylonian texts and there is plenty of gender queer stuff happening. The bible clearly mentions trans temple prostitutes, hence the line about not wearing the clothing of the opposite sex. You look at Loki and other Norse gods gender queering their pantheon up. How Elizabeth clearly stated she needed to be unsexed in 1586 prior to the Armada, and the Elizabethan stage was gender transgresive due to the nature of the medium. Shall we then move onto the female husbands that were all over 18th and 19th century newspapers, how trans medical science began in the 1910s, how Christine Jorgensen and Michael Dillon quietly got on with their transitions in the 1940s and 1950s, or that trans lives have always, always been a part of human society. Facts.

The Nazis burned the research and books from the Institute of Sexology in Berlin, the one place on Earth doing research on trans people at the time. Though, I suspect that the guest, Andrew Wilson, who previously went by BigPapaFascist, doesn't have a problem with the burnings.
