It will generate employment, empower local communities in Cholistan, promote indigenous crafts and heritage, and position South Punjab as a premier tourism hub. Surprise check at Mir Alam Tank: CM Revanth Reddy made an unannounced visit to inspect the ongoing development works. In an unusual inspection, the CM climbed onto a massive crane to get an aerial view of the works around the lake. CM Revanth Reddy’s directions for Mir Alam Tank: • Complete the suspension bridge works on time • Stop sewage from entering the lake • Widen the nala carrying floodwater from the lake to the Musi • Develop facilities for water sports • Develop the islands inside the lake • Make Mir Alam Tank a tourist attraction, taking advantage of its proximity to the airport
