@UNDP What exactly are you trying to prove by destroying nature? Hills are becoming barren, the air thick with pollution and yet you talk about creating new jobs. This isn't progress; it's recklessness. Empty promises, misguided priorities nothing more.

A New Era of Sustainable Waste Management in Nagpur 🌱 Inspected the Nagpur Municipal Corporation's 'Integrated Municipal Solid Waste Processing Plant' at the Bhandewadi Dumping Yard, which is set to turn the vision of a waste-free city into reality. Operated by the international industrial conglomerate KEVA SusBDe, the facility will process 1200 tons of waste generated daily in Nagpur. To be completed in 3 phases, the project will ensure that all daily waste generated in the city is processed using advanced technologies. Through this project, both wet and dry waste will be collected and processed. The treatment process will generate biogas, high-quality compost fertilizer, and fuel pellets from dry waste. The Nagpur Municipal Corporation has allotted 30 acres of land for the initiative and will receive an annual royalty of ₹15,00,000 from gas sales. Directed the administration to extend all necessary support for its successful implementation. The biogas generated through this project will be utilised to supply CNG for 198 city buses. In addition, the project will provide energy pellets required by MAHAGENCO, further contributing to sustainable energy generation and resource utilisation. This landmark project will reinforce Nagpur’s position as a national model for sustainable solid waste management and environmentally responsible urban development. Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, MLA Krishna Khopde ji, MLA Pravin Datke, Nagpur Mayor Neetatai Thakre and other dignitaries were present.
