When I was in high school, I didn't know where any of my teachers stood politically. In the classroom, they kept their politics to themselves. As they should. Today's teachers need to restore that practice. Make teaching respectable again.

I distributed 50 school supply kits to students at Al-Khayam School in Gaza, out of 120 students. Seventy children are still waiting for their turn waiting for nothing more than a pen and a notebook, just to feel that they are still students, and that their dreams still exist. I would be truly happy if we could complete the distribution to the remaining children those who have lost everything in their lives: their homes, their sense of safety, their childhood, and have nothing left but clinging to education as their last hope.
