Traps, ambush, treasure! 🍃

This is the game I wanted Tunic to be, but 8bit and gameboy palette.

The fire you do is so cool No idea how you managed that in GameMaker but I'm super curious!! It's particles? One of my other GM friends is real good at particles but I've never used them before (despite being on current GM version) 😅😅

Don't tell any *real* programmers, because they'll throw up, but they're *instances,* lol 😂👍 Each puff is hand animated, and just given a speed/direction when it's created. The hand animated part was the hard part! ❤️💪

This kind of graphics just feel oddly comforting for some reason

I haven't decided on the Game Over screen yet, actually. It's been something I've kind of had in the back of my head for awhile right now. Right now the game just.... kind of stops when you die, loll 😭❤️

Here's an idea: when you get the treasure and head back through the worm room, close both doors, the room shakes and you start an _unlimited_ wave of enemies, but after about 15 seconds in the door to the flamethrower room opens. When you exit, some of the worms and slimes burst out of the room and follow you after you get past the traps, but the traps immediately kill them all. (Your main character says "?".)

Ah, that's pretty fun actually! I have a different fun surprise already added though, heheh :D
