Treaty 8 Chiefs are threatening to obstruct critical infrastructure in Alberta if all of us, including their own band members, are allowed a say in our future. I guess the status quo works for them. Not so much for their people.

I think a full forensic audit of every sitting Chief is in order. Open the cooked books. It’s time for them to explain to the Taxpayers where billions in allocated money went. Why their people live in squalor while they live high on the hog. They have demands,so do we. The taxpayers that fund them. They forget their place. Maybe we stall all future payments until a full audit is completed. Bet you a cool hundy they all stfu and toe the line. For far too long we the Taxpayers have been their lifeline. We take that from them,they have no choice but to adhere to us. We will not be held hostage by corrupted Chiefs any longer. This is an example of what happens when you give Chiefs who are uneducated chip on your shoulder cash skimmers a platform. These band of brothers of Chiefs are very nervous and mad at the reality their tax payer funded gravy train could be at risk to change if Alberta says go. They keep their people poor and dependent and their reserves looking like poverty hovels to ensure the money keeps flowing. Victimhood is very profitable. People keep saying to @MarkJCarney order FORENSIC audits not just regular audits. The things that will be discovered would be shocking and likely I told you so moments for band members who have been victims of their Chief and councils corruption. Yet he does nothing.

So if it's the Chiefs who want to shut down infrastructure to stop a vote, but their Band Members want Independence, who will protest? The level of internal support for that action could be viewed as an unofficial referendum on Band leadership. But of course the Chiefs could tap the Can govt or Tides foundation for paid protesters.
