Trebor Soft Mints - Mr Soft advert - 1987

Wow! Forgot about that little gem! 💎🤪! I think Disco biscuits were taking off about then! 🤪😛🤣🤣🤣🤣

This aired in the 90s too, I remember it playing. (I'd be a baby at best in 87.)

Wow. This is barely older than me and I can remember it vividly. They must have ran it for years surely?

People always comment on my weird bouncy up and down walk. I'm told I can be seen in a crowd cause of my walk. It's been like this since I was little. Kids at school used to sing this ads song at me. Because (apparently) I walk like the guy in this advert..

My best mate used to sing this while strutting around school 🤣

Ah, the source of my nightmares.

Steve Harley song.

Cockney Rebel - top 10 hit 1974

This was my favourite advert as a kid thanks for reminding me of it. Also he always used to remind me of Ron Atkinson.

...My dad worked at Trebor, he made Extra Stron Mints in Colchester factory, they also made Refreshers there. We got tons of sweets as kids, including these chewy mints, AND! I cannot ever pop one in my mouth EVER AGAIN, as in my time, I ate far too many! It was good though back in the day, the factory had an amazing social club and bar, and, when Cadbury bought it out, WE GOT CHOCOLATE and Cola too (part of Shwepps!), tons of it! A bag of 10 cream eggs, 50p!...YUP! I hate them mints now LOL x

Always found this advert very creepy!! 😦!!

Takes me back... Those were the days.

Voice over is Peter Davison.

Walking around like coming up on ecstasy for the first time 😂

Spooky, I couldn't stop singing "trebor mints are minty mint stronger"the other day 🤣🤣 this will now be my ear worm 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Steve Harley's best song imo

Gordon Ramsey on crystal meth!
