"The Creator gave you everything you need to be successful! Seek Him out! He will show you."

Imagine that, nature has a way of taking care of itself and humans interfere 😂

Those leaves are also ground insulation and in the spring help protect emerging plants from those late spring cold snaps and snowfall. Also help animals with staying warm leaves are used for nesting decomp produces warmth. Nature sans human interference is pretty efficient.

My husband vacuums up the leaves and throws them in the woods he’s been doing it for 28 years he digs up dirt in the spring and puts it in the garden to feed the soil the soil is black and nutrient rich😋

These are straight up facts! Leave the leaves!

Seen this guy on YouTube. I folllow his channel - he and his wife run it together and it shows how they bought a nice place in the countryside, have a small garden growing their own food. They also make their own line of healthy blend juice drinks, and market it at farmer’s markets and craft fairs. Pretty successful at it too. A nice young Christian couple, living the American Dream. 👏 🇺🇸

It kills the grass dude that's why we do all that shit. You think we'd give a fuck about a leaves over the winter? I want grass on my yard not fucking dirt

I run them over with the mower when I do my last cut for the season to mulch them up and go back into the ground.

That’s what we do as well.

Absolutely. I never understood why people rake leaves. Get a mulching blade on your lawnmower, and mulch the leaves in place. Or collect them in the lawnmower bag, and compost them. Your soil will be much, much healthier.

I always mulch the leaves in my yard to fertilize the ground. My grass and the plants/ trees always look amazing! It took a few years for it to take when I brought the house.

I just mulch them up and leave them

Kills my grass if I leave them... Maybe lawn mowing, mulching them will help enough

👍👍👍

What about the excess nitrogen?

I collect the leaves my neighbors bag up and set on the street... Free fertilizer in the spring 😂

I moved in to this place 11 years ago. The previous owner always had the limbs and leaves burned or hauled off. I’ve been raking it all into berms. They’re all 6-10” of rich black loamy soil. Filled with earthworms. Grows the best … everything. 🫡 Leaves are STORAGE FOR NUTES.

I leave them where they fall. I have not had issues with them killing my lawn. I also use the first falling of leaves as cover for my plants that I planted in Fall to keep them warm from freezing temps, but also to help supply nutrients in the spring.

Don’t break the cycle! Nature doesn’t rake the leaves, bag them, and then set them out for the landfill.

Trees are nature's good vibes

Oh my gosh, this my favorite analogy about the leaves feeding the soil, the roots. 🙌

My lawn is surrounded by trees. I mow leaves in.

my compost pile was boring for a few years. Than magic happened, throw a tomato in the pile, 40 tomato plants sprout from the seeds. Toss a haloween pumpkin, 60 pumpkin vines pop up. Have not needed fertilizer in years for my gardens. It all starts with leaves

Leaves will also kill your grass, depriving it of oxygen and sunlight. The wet leave can also cause fungus growth that can harm your grass. By mowing the leaves, it chops them up into smaller pieces, which in turn breaks them down faster and doesn't smother your grass.

Boom 💥 the leaves 🍂 will dry out and become fire 🔥 Fuel ⛽️.

Awesome compost to make the best soil 🫶🏼👏🏼🙏

I don’t know why people rake leaves . Grass don’t grow in the Fall or winter or look green . But this is good info. I didn’t know. 👍

my neighbors hate that I leave the leaves from my Maple trees. But, I always have lots of caterpillars, fireflies and worms galore that they don't.

That's why we got a lawnmower that munchies the leaves. Easier to mow and no raking.

Wish we had trees! None to be found on high plains.

Exactly what I do-I do nothing and let nature do her magic.

Just one thing though, strawberries dont like leaf litter. It chokes them out. I dont even leave the strawberry leaves as they die off. They like straw. ❤️🍓🍓🍓🍓❤️

I always mulched with my leaves from fall. It’s amazing how pretty my flowers in my garden were.

A very important alchemical process is explained here. Few will understand. V.I.T.R.I.O.L

@patriot89q True. He’s someone who understands the Life cycle of trees and appreciates them.👍🏼
