TRENT REZNOR IN SLAM BAMBO, 1987. It sounded like this…

A reminder to all the broccoli cut zoomers. This is what you look like to us.

@majur_56

This reminds me of the transformation Ministry / Alan Jourgenson did after their first album With Sympathy. I Wanted to Tell Her single: Twitch was the immediate shift to industrial and Alan wished to forget the other album.

Hell yeah brother, I never knew this. Thank you for sharing the past, Brian! And here is Trent spreading his industrial wings just 7 years later in Closer, 1994.

Was that Balky on drums

He's not the singer but the keyboardist lol. Idiots

Band: Trent, could you wear a little color? Trent: I wana feel you from the inside.

Pantera, Alice in chains, Weezer and many others were all like this at the time.

That’s the highest backup keyboardist to lead singer aura ratio ever recorded lol 😂

Nice find man!! He really did merge Depeche Mode with new wave electric metal.. this is like the missing link lol! It makes so much sense now

It’s hard to wrap your mind around within two years of writing Terrible Lie

One of these musicians is not like the others.

Nothing prepared me for new wave trent reznor

5 years later, this same dude went on to put out two of the darkest and most disturbing albums of the 90's back to back 😆

Oh my was not aware o this. Funnier than pre-fame Tupac.

Damn, this is actually pretty lit, cant believe i never heard or knew about this.

That's worse lip syncing that Vanilla Ice, Yo!

I didn't know about this one! I knew about the Exotic Birds with Andy Kubiszewski who went on to drum for Stabbing Westward, but this is cool too!

No wonder we got the downward spiral 🤣

😅it’s almost cringe 😬 but I was cringe in the 80 also perhaps 😂

😳 Definitely Not Nine Inch Nails. My Seattle neighbor bragged about screwing him.

40 years and still relevant and at the top of his game. David Lee Roth and those guys should take note

Wow, that's amazing. And yet, he is the only one that had classic cool. He's the only one that didn't look like he was trying too hard... lol

And not a one of em actually performing anything but a fun dance 😆

Al Jourgensen from Ministry wrote the TV jingle for Shasta ads in the 1980s

@grok which one is resnor. The keyboard?

Perfect example of the old saying “we’re all a little bit gay” 🤷♂️

I remember hearing this on the radio and thought it slapped.

When people say, “I’m glad there weren’t video cameras recording everything I did when I was younger…” This is exactly what they’re talking about. 😂 Some memories are better left undocumented.

I started to watch this and I cringed so hard I had to be hospitalized.

Trent looks like he's in his own personal hell 😂

lol no way...

Fucking poser the whole time Tupac of rock
