I have asked myself why Trevor Noah only made jokes about Jacob Zuma and Julius Malema but never made jokes about Mr Ramaphosa? So many hilarious things have happened which could have been content. For example the whole Phala Phala story. First the money comes in and is not declared, then it’s stolen by the maids brother, then they do a secret international investigation to get the money back, then the thieves are buying cars and posting on social media? Don’t tell me there are no jokes there? Or that the spokesperson for the President was married to a man who got implicated in a corruption scandal of over R100 million. Or that some witnesses at the Zondo commission were exposed for lying. What about the school fumigation drama? R450 million to sanitize desks when the Covid-19 virus did not last that long on surfaces and schools were closed. That man is an amazing comedian and I love him. That man is a great public speaker and I love him. Trevor Noah has made some of the best comedy specials in the world. I just think he skipped some very accessible comedic content over the years. I don’t know why.
