Today, I hosted the first meeting of a special panel on child safety online. For decades, we have made the real world safer for children and we must do the same in the digital world. The positive opportunities that technology offers cannot come at the cost of their safety, health or happiness. In Europe, tech platforms already have a responsibility to ensure the safety of users. But we must also do more to protect and empower our young people online. This is the aim of the special panel. We will work intensely with experts and stakeholders, including our youth, to forge a strong and realistic European approach to keep our children safe in the digital age. By the summer, the special panel will publish its recommendations for further action.

World Models are the path for some AI Models in the future. But how can we efficiently train these models to not only see the world the way humans do but to see the world in a new and unique way. By visualizing, what is normally sequenced audio patterns, we can derive much more insights. Here we see Paganini in a visual form that can than be described and transcribed into a World Model. We can observe connections in a manner that may not have been clear prior to the digitalization of music and sound in this way. The company with the most valuable potential in building a World Model is Tesla. Not that this type of visualization is being used, but that the mechanisms are in place, and the technology is in place for the company to thrive in this new form of AI.

They are high-quality 3D maps generated from the mapping activity of our global community, which has produced more than 94M images of real-world locations so far. The dataset also includes 900TB+ of spatial data that can power Visual AI models, Robotics VPS for real-world navigation and positioning, XR VPS for precise spatial anchoring and AR experiences, Spatial Computing applications, Digital Twins, and the next generation of real-world AI infrastructure. Figure is aiming to develop the world’s largest and most diverse real-world humanoid pretraining dataset. For this purpose, they’re partnering with Brookfield, a global asset manager overseeing $1 trillion in assets, including 100,000 residential units, 500M square feet of commercial office space, and 160M square feet of logistics space. The data collected from this collaboration will be used to train Figure’s Helix AI model, enabling humanoids to perform tasks autonomously in real-world environments designed for humans. In addition to data collection, the partnership will explore support for next-generation GPU data centers, real estate for robotic training environments, and commercial use cases across Brookfield’s global footprint.
