I also tried making an extended version with Yuffie. She looks a bit too composed and her chest ended up slightly larger, so it’s missing a little of that “Yuffie-like” vibe—but overall, I think it turned out pretty good. If you're a designer or a design engineer, you might often end up building micro apps for your creative workflow - branding assets, animations, WebGL effects. BUT to make the app itself look pretty takes quite a lot of work. Laggy controls, weird dropdowns, ugly sliders, partially working image uploaders, slow canvas. We're building a solution for that - a free and open-source micro app template(+ skills/agents.md) for designers. Here is the first teaser of components that will be available for you out of the box.

Ok, that's amazing. 🦄 A side by side three.js comparison - with GitMCP and without. GitMCP's story originally started from a tweet by Three.js about their large, non-LLM-digestable, documentation file. Ido Salomon and I ended up creating a cool generic documentation MCP server, but we didn't forget threejs and mrdoob. So we put it to the test. Using GitMCP, I gave this prompt to Cursor + Claude 3.7: "Build a Three.js scene featuring a controllable realistic person navigating a textured dynamic urban environment with realistic lighting and subtle bloom effects. Ensure keyboard controls (WASD) for movement." This is the result. To the right is the one-shot result with our MCP server. To the left is the result without it, based just on Cursor's limited knowledge. The video is pretty conclusive. 🤯 It's really amazing since Cursor already knows a lot about three.js, but with our dedicated documentation MCP server it just outputs better results. And for all other libraries out there - that are not included in Cursor - this is a total game changer. A huge shout out to Cloudflare Developers and Anni Wang, who worked with us yesterday to quickly insert new capabilities in their AutoRAG feature (that enables indexing large amount of documentation) according to our specific needs, and to troubleshoot issues. It was very helpful. Knowledge is power, and that applies for every coding assitant. And not just for three.js! Check out GitMCP for any library you're using - link in the next comment.

I've been pondering something... My end goal with my city simulator is to publish it on Steam. I was planning on using Three.js for prototyping and then porting this over to Unity to take advantage of ECS/Burst. But then I realized I could probably port all of the simulation code from TypeScript to Rust if I wanted to make it ultra-fast. And then I can continue to use Three.js for the renderer and then embed it into an Electron app. Is that a dumb idea? What pitfalls are there with this approach? Curious what people's experience publishing games using Electron has been.

I've been pondering something... My end goal with my city simulator is to publish it on Steam. I was planning on using Three.js for prototyping and then porting this over to Unity to take advantage of ECS/Burst. I always wondered "What if I port my three.js game to Rust? Will it improve performance?" I finally ported it to both Rust Desktop and Rust WASM (that runs on the browser) Comparing the three.js version with the Rust desktop I had a clear winner: Rust desktop. But now I took the time to port it to the web using Web Assembly (WASM) And my conclusion is... A tie! Both versions averaged 42FPS (60FPS if running one at a time) So if your goal is to ship a web game, it doesn't even matter the tech you use. (Three.js is recommended because the ecossystem is huge though) As long you optmize well (Web workers, reduce triangles, draw calls, etc) you should be good to go. But in the event you want to ship a native game to publish on Steam a system language (Rust, C++, etc) will be better for you. Now I want to port the three.js game to Desktop using Electron and see the results. I'll let you know. Btw, I'm open to new freelance projects. If you have anything for me, my DMs are open!

I spent my Astra tokens trying to teach small Qwen3.5 (9B) to create lowpoly 3D rooms using Blender 🏡 you (or Astra) can take this challenge today here's what I learned: > you need to align geometry with deterministic rewards and VLM-as-a-judge (GLM-5.3-Flash which was a great judge) > I tried GEPA at first with various rewards, model learned to make valid rooms (but that's it) > after solving geometry you need the model to add more details, which is very hard > the stricter the reward function, less advantage you get because task is too hard. grpo didn't help > I tried passing image guidance to both policy (Qwen) and judge (GLM) it didn't improve > I tried tastemaxxing trick in this blog, truth is, flowers can be abstract, a house can't be shoutout to OpenEnv, environment is super simple what can you try? > experiment with different rewards or policy (teach a larger Qwen) > generate a dataset of 150-200 Blender render Bpy examples using Astra, fine-tune Qwen on it first and then try GEPA or GRPO > ???

If you think this is just another silly demo made with AI, read this post. You might change your mind, because this demo is about MATH. What you see on the screen is not a render from Blender (obviously, it’s not that good). It’s a three.js app built with Toolcraft. Available on the web and rendered in real time(link in the comments). But Blender still has a lot to do with it. Blender has Geometry Nodes - a powerful node-based system for creating and manipulating procedural geometry. In other words, it’s math. And math is a universal language. And who do you think is pretty good at math? >>> AI. Now you can download or buy Blender files from marketplaces, and when they contain Geometry Nodes for procedural animations, objects, surfaces, or effects, you can transfer that logic to the web. Make it real-time, make it interactive. Materials are a separate story, of course. They can still suck unless you use the right tricks: PBR, HDRIs, material blending, displacement, and faked surface relief. So why is Blender important here? Blender is open source, and many tools around it are open source too. An AI trained on their code. That means it can translate the math from one environment to another quite accurately. If you’ve been struggling to reproduce some idea with AI that you had in your head or seen in some references, and it has something to do with Geometry Nodes, and you can find that idea or a close one in the Blender ecosystem - it means you can transfer it to the web. Thank me later.

This has to be a left shoulder turn into a right hook, or if you're gonna spin back, it has to be a right shoulder left hook. With Jaren Jackson Jr. on him, there is not going to be an opportunity to to just turn and dunk or lay it in. So it's pretty simple to me: Until there is a signal of a post move being developed in these positions, Gobert shouldn't be allowed to duck-in on this big of a defender. ~ About ‘Loser (ft. Yena)’✨ 🐹: Yena joined me on this track. I actually came up with the concept for this one as well. Honestly, other than DSYLM, I created the concepts for all the other songs too. For this song, I tried to be imaginative with it. 🐹: I’ve never dated anyone during my student years so I imagined a lot about what it would feel like if students were in a relationship. 🐹: It also reflects a bit of my own personality to lead to kind of childish arguments. Hai again .. i need feedbacks on the back cover for this DJ. I honestly love the peek a boo concept for a cover but there is a high chance there will be a bit of peel on certain part of the paper, i wonder if that’s okay or would u guys prefer a plain cover with no holes ? Entrepreneurship is a luxury. When I dropped out of college and asked my parents for that one chance, I genuinely felt this might be the only opportunity I would ever get to do something meaningful. If I wasted it, I couldn’t blame anyone else. That mindset changes how you work. You stop treating it like an experiment. You treat it like responsibility. In India, we don’t just need more startups.
