Hi Crime Watch. Here is the CCTV footage I was referring to. City of Harare workers were confiscating goods at a nearby tuckshop and were beating and harassing citizens. When they thought my cousin was recording them committing a crime, they chased her into the yard to beat her and take her phone. They were unaware that we had CCTV cameras in the yard. These are the workers who pounced on her. The young man was running after their van to get his goods back, begging them. He had a valid licence. This is the evidence for my statement- This old man in the video is Satish Shah. Satish Shah’s mother purchased a land in Vattinagulapalli in 1968. From 1968 to 2025 many surveys have happened - every time it was clear that the land belonged to Satish Shah’s family. FIFTY SEVEN years, there was never a single problem. Around May 2025, Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy’s construction company Raghava Constructions bought the land adjacent to Satish Shah. And then started the most harrowing experience for Satish Shah and his family. In June 2025 Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy’s son Ponguleti Harsha Reddy gets in touch with Satish Shah. He meets him and tells that they need small portion of the land for laying a 100 feet road. Since their land is under GO 111, Satish Shah and family told Harsha they don’t want to sell the land. After two weeks, Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy himself goes to the house of Satish Shah. 🤯 The idea is to create fear psychosis. Then the third visit happens. This time Ponguleti Harsha Reddy visits their home and tells that they don’t want 2/3 acres but need the entire land. Satish Shah’s family runs a Goshala and they cultivate the land. They stood their ground and told clearly they don’t want to sell. This hurt the big ego of the big minister & his son. In 2019 land survey happened under high court direction when Satish Shah’s sister was selling her portion of the land. In 2021 land acquisition happened and the family even got compensation from the government. Around 2018-2019 boundary wall constructed Now the revenue minister wanted to use his power to manipulate the land records. He ordered a sudden survey. Satish Shah went to the court and the High Court of Telangana suspended the survey. In the intervening night of 29th-30th October, 7-8 JCBs came without number plates and all walls were demolished. Satish Shah came to know these were Raghava Construction’s JCBs and lodged a complaint to the police. He went to the court and obtained an ad-interim order. There were FIVE physical attacks on the workers by 60 goons. Power was cut. They threaten to kill and burry everyone in the same land. High court gave police protection! Four months since it’s been pending. On Ugadi again, the staff were attacked and the wall of the goshaala that was repaired was demolished again. According to Satish, the police are mute & helpless. The land next to Satish Shah’s land was acquired by Ponguleti family, and construction is being carried out under a new name NewGen Builders. Satish Shah has all documents, all legal rights, has court orders, he and his family are educated & have the resources to fight YET they live in constant fear for their lives. So - my advice! I want to ask three questions first, which will make it very clear that the BJP is directing and using the Election Commission to damage India's democracy. ❓ Why is it that the CJI was removed from the selection panel of the Election Commissioner? What motivation could there be to remove the CJI? Do we not believe in the CJI? Of course, we believe in the CJI. Why is he not in that room? I sit in that room. It is a so-called democratic decision. On one side, PM Narendra Modi and HM Amit Shah. On the other side, the leader of the opposition. I have no voice in that room. What they decide is what happens. So, why are the Prime Minister and Amit Shah so keen on choosing exactly who the Election Commissioner is going to be? ❓ This is a devastating one. They changed the law to make sure that no Election Commissioner could be punished for any action they take while they are Election Commissioners. Why would the Prime Minister and Home Minister give this gift of immunity to the Election Commissioner? I express my deep anguish and concern over the health condition of senior Kashmiri leaders Shabir Ahmad Shah and Mohammad Yasin Malik, as conveyed by their family members who recently visited them in jail. Shah Sahib’s wife, in a letter to me, conveyed that their daughter, who visited Shah Sahib in jail reported that he seems to be dying a silent death due to his fast deteriorating health and multiple complications with no recourse to urgent care or hospitalisation. The letter urges the authorities to at least shift him home and convert Shah Sahib’s house into a jail so that the family can take care of him and provide him the urgent medical attention, as his health cannot withstand any further delay. This has deeply alarmed me, and I once again fervently appeal to the central government to show compassion and, on humanitarian grounds, release Shah Sahib or at least, as per the family’s request, put him under arrest at home where he will be taken care of. Yasin Sahib’s mother and sister, who also met him in jail a few days back, conveyed that prolonged incarceration and confinement have taken a huge toll on his physical and mental health and that he is also in need of urgent medical care. I urge the authorities to provide medical assistance to Yasin Sahib. It is deeply distressing to hear of the pain and suffering that these and other leaders are enduring in detention. Reports about the worsening health and harsh conditions of other Kashmiri political detainees and youth lodged in various jails within and outside Jammu and Kashmir are equally worrying. This is a matter of human concern and compassion that is above political considerations and ideologies. I urge that immediate and adequate medical care be provided to all detainees suffering from health issues, and I appeal to the authorities and judiciary to consider their condition on humanitarian grounds and their rights as prisoners. I also urge the elected representatives of the J&K Assembly to unite on this issue and play their role especially the ruling party in securing the release and relief for the Kashmiri prisoners suffering incarceration under draconian laws.

Meet Syed Shah Khawar Ali, a 27-year-old 'serial entrepreneur' from Ambala, Haryana with a unique 'business model'. He has trapped over 50 girls across the country - from states like Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Kerala - via matrimonial websites where he pretends to be an SC advocate with a business in Singapore. He would land up in the city where the target girl lives on some pretext and then spin a web with his smooth talking. After raping and looting a victim, he would lie low for a few months before becoming active on matrimonial sites again and hunting for his next victim. He has cases against him in several states, and was even arrested once in Delhi. But due to the Gandhian 'every sinner has a future' outlook embedded deep into the body politic of our secular state, or maybe just due to apathy/corruption of our criminal justice system, he was let free without any credible monitoring system to ensure he doesn't repeat his crimes. You will not see this case being highlighted on front pages in English-language 'national' media, like the way the recent death of two cow smugglers, or the death in a Jharkhand lockup of a thief were covered. And if Syed Shah is somehow given the capital punishment he deserves for violating and scarring dozens of girls, his case will be expedited in the Supreme Court and lawyers like Sibal, Dhawan will line up to represent him. We will hear how Syed was just like any other young man growing up, how he idolized xyz cricketer, his favorite food, and about the dreams he had.... Truth be said, Syed Shah's 'business model' is not entirely unique. In 2017, Muhammad Shafi from Kerala was arrested for posing as a Hindu NRI doctor on matrimonial sites and sexually assaulting over 30 Hindu women, mostly nurses and nursing students. When asked why he targeted only Hindu girls, Shafi said he can’t trick girls of his own community. “A devout Muslim, he thinks it is a sin to molest a Muslim girl,” reveled an investigator, adding that he never felt any remorse as the victims were Hindus. Ideally, media should be digging deep into the minds and upbringing of people like Syed Shah Khawar Ali and Muhammad Shafi to understand what makes them commit such crimes without a trace of remorse, what part religious indoctrination and their religious affiliations play, what sort of attitudes prevail in the communities where these criminal grow....but then that would go against the hallowed principles of 'secularism', so all we will witness is a few terse reports at best, followed by complete silence. Meanwhile, more and more Muslim youth are being radicalized and emboldened each day to adopt this same model....and Hindu girls are being conditioned to make them ever more easy prey for such predators.
