This woman was driving early on a Monday morning and saw this deer get hit in front of her by another car. She pulled over and it was still alive. She said “I couldn't just leave her to get hit again and suffer more. suffer more.” The woman also offered “She was loved and was at peace when she went. I wasn’t going to let anyone harm her in an inhumane way. I talked to her and calmed her. I just wish we could’ve saved her. My heart hurts.
