Paul Verhoeven on whether the events that take place in "Total Recall" (1990) are real or just a dream: "It is both. To be honest, that’s what I want. I made the movie in a way that it would be true on both levels, and I spent a lot of time to get that. If you want a scientific explanation, you know, of course, in quantum mechanics there is a very interesting principle, the principle of uncertainty, Heisenberg’s principle. If you have a big object and if you try to measure the place of the object and the velocity of the object at the same time, the more precisely you measure velocity the less precise place gets. So that’s the principle. That means, of course, that there are different realities possible at the same moment. What I wanted to do in 'Total Recall' is to do a movie where both levels are true. I mean for me, of course, the film anyhow has to do with two realities, one being the reality of going as a secret agent to Mars and discovering that there is a problem, and solving the problem, which is starting the nuclear reactor and helping the guerrillas and destroying Cohaagen. The second level of the movie, of course, is that from the moment that he goes into the Rekall chair ‘til the end it’s a dream, and I tried to make that second level work throughout the whole movie. So there’s the dream level which starts when he gets into the chair and the thing is in his neck, and that would go throughout the whole movie, so in the next scene where they say, Oh, there’s a problem, there’s a big glitch here, that would be already the dream, of course. That’s where the dream starts. And the next scene where they are fighting and stuff would be part of his dream, convincing him that it is real, because there is a glitch but that would be part of the program. It would be built into the program to make him accept the fact that it’s real, but it’s a dream. If you look at the movie, if you haven’t seen it, or for the second time, you’ll see that the whole program that’s set up at the beginning when he goes to the Rekall office and he talks to this guy who sells him the program on Mars, you’ll see that he gets everything that he wants: he gets the trip to Mars, he gets the girl, the exotic girl, he ki!!s the bad guys, and he saves the entire planet. That’s what he does. And that’s basically the dream. Even halfway through the movie, you may remember, this other guy comes in, Dr. Edgemar, and tells him that he’s in a dream, that he’s still in the Rekall chair, and then Arnold says, “If I’m there, I can ki!! you.” And he puts a gun to his head and the guy says, “Sure, no problem for me, big problem for you, because you will be psychotic from now on because the walls of reality will fall apart. One moment you will be the savior of the rebel cause, the next moment you’ll be Cohaagen’s bosom buddy, but in the end—you will even have these strange fantasies about alien civilizations—but at the end you will be lobotomized.” And then if you see the movie, you realize that all these things happen. I mean he is lobotomized at the end. That’s why at the last shot, when they are so happy and kissing each other, it slowly fades to white, which for me meant, “OK, there he goes. That’s the end-that’s the dream—they lobotomized him.” And all the other things happened, he finds the alien civilization, he rescues the planet, he finds the good girl, he k!!ls the bad guys, but it’s a dream. Now, of course you can see it as a reality, too. So at the end of the movie, getting to white means either it’s a happy ending or he loses his brains . . . which is probably also a happy ending, I don’t know. That was basically what l wanted—that at the end there would be two possibilities, and they would be both true—for me they are both true—it’s not either one or the other. It’s not that either it’s a dream or it is a reality. It is a dream and it is a reality. And I think they’re both there." (Paul Verhoeven's interview with Chris Shea & Wade Jennings, 1992) P.S: On this day, 36 years ago, "Total Recall" (1990) premiered in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Watched #Dhurandhar for 5th time and man what a movie. Dhurandhar is the highest Hindi movie gross collection BOC with over Rs. 831/- crores in India, surpassing #Pushpa2 and almost 1300/- crores+ globally. 1. Without any advertising, media publicity or paid TV shows, motivated paid campaigns against Dhrandhar and yet people of India and world across made this movie All Time Blockbuster. 2. #AkshayeKhanna performance as #RehmanDakait steals the entire movie. Akshaye Khanna drawing huge crowds in movie theaters. 3. Leftists -Communists fake liberals and Dynasty families parties like Congress ecosystems made desperate attempts to fail Dhurandhar, as the movie expose their corrupt, dirty games during 2004-2014. 4. Don't know why GCC countries banned Dhurandhar in their countries. 5. #RanveerSingh #SanjayDutt #RMadhavan performance is brilliant but Dhurandhar belongs to #AkshayKhanna . 6. Millions/Billions ie. Crores of people waiting very anxiously for #Dhurandhar2 If you are heavy, airless silence of a martyr’s home, where the walls are crowded with memories, but the chairs remain perpetually empty. If you have felt the cold breath of history in the corridors where the unsung gave their 'tomorrow' for our 'peaceful' today. If you have looked into the eyes of a child who only knows their father through the glass of a framed photograph... then you will recognise the pulse of this film. Outrage is a luxury for those who have never had to face the facts; for the rest of us, this is simply the truth. Aditya Dhar doesn’t just narrate; he lets the story bleed and dares you to take your eyes off your screen for the full 3 hours and 34 minutes. This cinematic brilliance shines through the lens of a director who is devoted not to spectacle, but to the craft itself. Every frame casting a spell on the viewer, every character etched out masterfully. A film that has not just pushed the envelope but ripped it apart just like Animal did in 2023. The cast has surrendered to the film with a fearlessness that is rare. Ranveer Singh burns with a subterranean fire simmering under the restraint, proving that silence can be more haunting than any roar. Akshaye Khanna is magnificent, the power in that gaze, that smile and the intensity of the ‘Kasainuma’ violence, this Dakait captures your heart. Ranganathan Madhavan is the intellectual steel, the calm eye within a lethal storm, the patriotic mastermind who I am so excited to see in Part 2. Legendary Sanjay Dutt and arjun rampal bring a weathered, granite-like gravity that makes the shadows of the frontlines feel tangible. To tell this story was a risk,to witness it is our duty. To the men and women, KNOWN and UNKNOWN, who stand as our shield while we sleep—Dhanyawad. Our nation is forever in your debt. Congratulation to Aditya Dhar and Jio Studios for becoming the highest grossing Indian film of all time, in a single language! If you've ever stood in the heavy, airless silence of a martyr’s home, walls crowded with memories, chairs forever empty... Felt the cold breath of history in corridors where the unsung sacrificed their 'tomorrow' for our 'peaceful' today... Looked into a child's eyes who knows their father only through a framed photo... Then you'll feel the pulse of this film. Outrage is a luxury for those untouched by facts; for the rest, this is raw truth. Aditya Dhar doesn't narrate, he lets the story bleed, daring you to look away for the full 3h34m. Cinematic brilliance from a director devoted to craft over spectacle, every frame spells magic, every character masterfully etched. A film that rips the envelope apart, just like Animal did in 2023. Ranveer Singh burns with subterranean fire under restraint, silence more haunting than any roar. Akshaye Khanna magnificent, power in his gaze, smile, 'Kasainuma' intensity, this Dakait captures hearts. Ranganathan Madhavan as intellectual steel, calm in the storm, patriotic mastermindcan't wait for Part 2!

//The Wire//2300Z August 4, 2025// //ROUTINE// //BLUF: MULTIPLE BOMB MAKERS ARRESTED AROUND THE USA. CHILEAN HEIST CREW MEMBER ARRESTED AFTER ATM ROBBERY INVOLVING EXPLOSIVES. MASS SHOOTING REPORTED IN MONTANA, SUSPECT AT LARGE. MIGRANT CRIME CONTINUES TO INFLAME TENSIONS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM.// -----BEGIN TEARLINE----- -International Events- United Kingdom: Immigration scandals have continued as another assault case has come to light over the past few days. A young child was assaulted by two Afghan "refugees" in Birmingham last week, who have been identified as Ahmad Mulakhil and Mohammad Kabir. Analyst Comment: This case has served as yet another catalyst for public anger to rise, as the British government continues to not just allow these horrific crimes to occur, but is actively working to protect the criminals and prosecute those expressing anger about these attacks. In this case, Warwickshire Police are under fire for deliberately requesting local officials to withhold the details of this crime from the public, to protect the criminals. -HomeFront- New York: Over the weekend a minor earthquake was observed throughout New York City and New Jersey, with an estimated magnitude of 3.0. No major damage was reported. Montana: A mass shooting was reported at the Owl Bar in Anaconda on Friday. Authorities have identified the shooter as Michael Paul Brown, who was seen fleeing the scene in a stolen pickup truck (which was found some time later Friday night). 4x people were killed during the engagement, and a local manhunt remains underway with authorities theorizing that he may still be in the local area. Tennessee: An IED Factory was discovered at the home of a local man in the unincorporated township of Old Fort on Friday. Kevin Wade O’Neal was arrested for making threats against public officials, and during the arrest officers allegedly smelled something burning in a back room. This resulted in the discovery of 14x explosive devices, at least one of which had been ignited (but failed to detonate). Analyst Comment: Much like other IED discoveries as of late, the photo evidence of the devices themselves confirm that these devices were exceptionally crude in their construction, indicating the user had little to no training in the construction of explosives. California: One of the members of an infamous Chilean heist crew was arrested in Newport Beach, after he attempted to use explosives to breach an ATM at a local Target store two weeks ago. Analyst Comment: The use of explosive breaching in robbery cases is rare, but becoming more common around the world following this being the robbery method of choice in South Africa. Regarding this specific case, the use of explosives in California is common enough that this did not get national news coverage until it was revealed that the man who was arrested, was a member of the Chilean heist crew which conducted several bank heists throughout the west coast last year. California: In a separate case, a bomb maker was arrested at his residence in Long Beach Friday afternoon, following an investigation by the FBI. Mark Lorenzo Villanueva was arrested after he sent money to what he thought was an affiliate group of ISIS. During the search of Villanueva's residence, an Improvised Explosive Device was found. Washington D.C. - Scandal has erupted following the discovery of a new addition to Department of Homeland Security doctrine. Back in April of this year, the Department of Homeland Security published their updated terms and conditions for receiving disaster aid for FY 2025. Though it was not observed by many at the time, this morning a few mainstream media outlets became aware of this doctrine change, which now includes specific language preventing disaster aid from flowing to states which have not signed a pledge to not-boycott Israel. This pledge of allegiance specifically applies to grants for search and rescue equipment, which will be withheld from states which do not agree to these terms. -----END TEARLINE----- Analyst Comments: From time to time, the American people are granted the luxury of learning a lesson before a life or death emergency occurs, which provides a much needed reality check for things such as disaster preparedness. As with many government policies, it often takes a few months for the true scale of a scandal to become known, or for someone to find documents that are actually posted publicly. Now that the DHS policies regarding disaster aid have become more widely known, it is a good time to re-assess the impacts that this policy (and the other policies which no one has found yet) may have moving forward. In short, the Department of Homeland Security sets the Terms and Conditions for states that seek to receive disaster aid from FEMA...and the DHS just added support for Israel as a line item in those conditions. For context, (and for those saying that the states can just by their own gear) an understanding of how the logistics of most search and rescue operations function is necessary. In almost all states, local authorities would not be able to operate at all without federal funding or grants of some kind, specifically for equipment. If a fire department needs to buy a new radio, most of the time they are able to use a small amount of state funds to pay a portion of that cost, and various federal grants pick up the rest. Considering that the bulk of most disaster relief efforts in the United States are carried out on the ground by unpaid volunteers, this means that the vast majority of all public services in the United States are heavily subsidized by the Federal government. In a perfect world, all SAR, police, fire, and EMS services would be financed and equipped at the lowest levels, with various partnerships made along the way from the local levels, to the state, and to the federal agencies managing more resources. In reality, this isn't how it works out. If a rural volunteer fire department in the middle of nowhere needs a new fire engine that costs half-a-million dollars, there is almost never enough tax money at the local or state level to pay for it, or if the states were to fund it, it would require state-level taxes to be raised to extraordinarily high levels. And now that deliberate allegiance to a foreign power is entering into this culture as a requirement for logistical support during a disaster, this is concerning. What this means in practice, is hard to say. As concerning as this policy sounds, we must remember that (as of last year) 38x states already have anti-BDS laws in effect. Since it's already illegal to boycott Israel in 38 states it's hard to say how this will work out in practice, but it's possible friction will emerge between the states and the feds, not because the states are anti-Israel in any way, but because they aren't pro-Israel enough. For the very few states that may choose to take a stand on this and not sign these agreements, the risk is substantial. Many states who's political leadership is simply opposed to Trump will probably want to make a stand on this, which transfers that risk to individual taxpayers. Since this policy applies to Israeli companies, there's much more opportunity for risk as well. For instance, if a state agency solicits bids for a certain product that they need, and an Israeli company places a bid to fulfill that contract, not accepting that bid could in theory result in a loss of federal grants due to this situation falling within the "discrimination" definitions set in place by the US government. Financial impacts will also be felt directly by taxpayers (not just the state) by the implementation of this policy; just as California's mismanagement of wildfire risks resulted in insurance companies pulling out of Los Angeles before the major fire earlier this year, insurance companies are sure to take notice of this development. Those who live in states which will be pushing back on this, will probably see an increase in insurance rates. Training cycles for rescue teams is also very likely to be impacted as teams and departments, if forced to by the actions of their state, will be operating on a shoestring budget. Police departments may or may not be affected, it's too soon to tell. This directive comes from the Department of Homeland Security, and specifically applies to grants that are mostly used by local fire departments to purchase life-saving rescue equipment. All in all, this is the indication and warning for Americans to prepare for being their own responder to a crisis. The citizen-based response to Hurricane Helene most clearly illustrated the need for localized non-government-affiliated disaster recovery efforts...all while the federal government was trying their utmost to slow-roll their response. Now, the challenges have grown substantially and the need for a prepared citizenry which will not discriminate or withhold disaster relief due to political reasons, has become an even more desperate need. Thankfully, the success of the efforts during the Hurricane Helene response served as a proof-of-concept for many ideas, not just disaster recovery. More pressingly, Hurricane Season officially ends on November 30th, so this will be something to consider as the need for community disaster preparedness remains paramount. #BKRImpressions #NuvvuNakuNachav Venkatesh Daggubati #Trivikram #Vijaybhaskar Sri Sravanthi Movies Highlight of #NNN is undoubtedly Venkatesh Daggubati performance. Can't imagine anyone else in the role of Venky. Protagonist: ****************** Nandini is the protagonist. Setup Want : ***************** Her setup want is to find her dream man . Flaw: ********** Her Flaw is she doesn’t like the marriage not could not express that to her family. This is explained by showcasing Nandini getting up late on her engagement day and not revealing her face while exchanging ring to her fiancée. Point of No Return : ************************ Point of no return in this film is at 1:07nd minute when Nandini is impressed after hearing Venky’s POV about his father and being with him instead of earning money and staying away from him. Nandini finds her dream man and this is shown by revealing the face of Venky for the first time in her dream. If not for this scene NuvvuNakuNachav movie will not become NuvvuNakuNachav. Catch: ********** Nandini is already engaged but she found her dream man now which perfectly tests his flaw cannot express her POV to the family In Act 2 Nandini tries to express her love to Venky, who also loves Nandini but his priority was to protect the friendship of his father with Nandini’s father. Despite multiple attempts from Nandini Venky does not acknowledge her love. Venkys love is conveyed to audience while trying to apologize to Nandini , driving her to Asha’s wedding gifting her the flower she wanted. Crisis : ************ Venky does not accept Nandini’s love and requests her to marry the person she is engaged to. Suhasini and Chandramohan tries to convince venky but in vain. This is exactly the opposite of Setup want, Climatic choice: ******************* NuvvuNakuNachav does not follow Nutshell technique at this point. As per Nutshell climatic choice has to be taken by Protagonist but here Nandini has no role to play. Suhasini realizes Nandini’s love and tries to convince Venky but he doesn’t agree. Prakash raj came to know about Nandini’s love here also Nandini did not take any decision to move away from her flaw. In railway station somehow Prakash raj realizes Venkys love and get them married. IF climatic decision is taken by Nandini then it would have been perfect nutshell technique. Final step: ************** Venky and Nandini gets married. Strength: ************* Because of the flaw in climatic choice protagonist does not move away from flaw to attain strength but she gets married to her dream man

🚨 WATCH: Fox’s Piers Morgan on tariffs: “Unlike 99% of people on social media, I am a 100% certain I have no idea if this is going to work. Everyone is either completely sure it's the greatest transformation thing we've ever seen in economic history or a complete and utter disaster. And it seems to me that, like with a lot of things that Trump does, it’s probably best to just take a beat, wait a bit, and see how this plays out.” “In particular, see how all the countries respond. You're already beginning to see some movement with some of these countries racing to do a deal with Trump. If enough of them start to do that, you'll see the markets - who are basically like a bunch of lemmings running over a cliff at the best of times - will roll back at the first sign that any of this appears to be working.” “However, and I think it's an important caveat, this is one hell of a roll of the dice. Because if you're out there and and you're already struggling from a cost of living crisis and you've got savings and maybe you've got some stocks and so on, you are looking at this and you're worried, you're concerned for your family.” “And I think that, Trump has gotta look at this very carefully, and he's got to pull out the art of the deal in spectacular fashion. Now I I would just say I wouldn't bet against him. I look at what he's done with the Southern Border in two months, which has been little short of miraculous, and he's had hardly any credit for it.” “So I'm prepared to give him a little bit of time and a chance, and I think everybody should, to see if this works. But if in two months' time, it's not working, the pain could be pretty enormous, and that could be presidency threatening. So the stakes are high.“

SEE YOU AGAIN ON BOARD! Huihuis/Carats, we are pleased to announce that we have finally completed the "Meet Me at the Boarding Gate" project aka Flight JN610. Thank you for sharing this journey with Crescent Jun PH. Before we fully disembark with this project and start a new journey, I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to everyone who took part in this amazing journey. To deanna | 문잡아 the very first person who trusted this project and the one who helped me securing the slot for the aerial banner. While we know that it is me who initiated this, it wouldn't be that really possible without her help in securing it the earliest time we can. To every Huihuis/Carats who extended their support through their donations. I really do appreciate you extending your generosity and your trust towards this fan project. You made this project possible and even more memorable. Beyond funding, you gave this initiative meaning and so much love. To everyone who shared the project's initiative, thank you so much for your efforts. To my friends who supported the idea and extended their help in various ways such as doing art works & pre-flight supervision and a lot more. I appreciate you a lot. To the Pegasus Airlines staffs (aerial banner towing company) who has been nice all through out the entire process. From the initial preparation to the successful completion of the project. I am very much thankful how they handled this. This project comes after I wasn’t able to get a reply from what was supposed to be the original plan. The goal is to have something to welcome Jun back to PH stage after two years. Although the first option didn’t work out, looking back now, the aerial banner turned out to be a wonderful choice. There were uncertainties at the beginning, but this project already started fueled with love and admiration for Jun who always exerted so much love and effort at things he do. So when I was asked what would be the other option or what would be the "plan B" despite putting other option on the donation form, I already know to myself that I will push through with this project regardless of the outcome of the donation drive. It's just that I took some time weighing things and checking what are the things I need to consider. Despite some lapses and understandable disappointments, I can say that this project has been pulled off successfully. To Jun, know that you are always loved in more ways that you could imagine. Your efforts are always seen & cherished by the people who loves you so dearly. May you always be proud of yourself and continue doing things that you love and makes you happy. The sky always belongs to you, our Moon who always shines the brightest. It has been a wonderful journey with you all. Thank you for celebrating and welcoming Junhui in such a beautiful way. Until our next journey!

This is the Airbus Beluga XL A330-743L transport aircraft which entered into service in 2020. Airbus is a good example of what Africa needs to do when it broadly and finally has good leadership with an economic vision. Airbus is co-owned by the German-French-Spanish European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company, and Britain's BAE Systems. These 4 European countries could have individually made their own aero planes, but they realised that coming together to build planes under one European company would create more jobs in their respective countries, and also create a bigger market for these planes. When they are building a plane, wings are made in Wales in the UK, the undercarriage is made elsewhere and so on. If Africa could take a leaf out of this, Zimbabwe would commercially only focus on growing tobacco, Malawi would only do ground nuts, South Africa could only do maize production and so on. It means that Zimbabwe would have a market of 53 countries plus itself to sell its tobacco to and not be shortchanged by the Chinese or Europeans. Africa would rely on South Africa for maize and Malawi would have a ready made huge market of 1.5 billion Africans for its ground nuts. Economies of scale matter. What are economies of scale? Economies of scale are a proportionate saving in costs gained by an increased level of production. So Malawi will gain more by spending less in the production of ground nuts because it is producing more and has a huge market to sell them to. Airbus has 4 European home markets; Britain, France, German and Spain where it has its factories. It employs 55,000 people directly, and has been outselling Boeing for many years. Boeing was started in 1916 in America and Airbus was started in 1971 in Europe. It means it is never too late for Africans to start working on this type of regional or continental integration when it comes to commercial enterprises. That requires quality minds in our politics, the question is are we electing quality minds in our politics? That is food for thought for you. Imagine if Britain, Spain, France and Germany had their own individual aero plane manufacturers, would they have been able to take on Boeing and beat it as Airbus has done? Just remember that the future is bright for YOU if you understand that your vote matters, and that placing it against the right person or group of people matters more! Africa has great minds that understand these issues, and are already working on them in Europe, Asia and the Americas. The only problem is that the African voter is still mesmerized by sweet nothings instead of substance driven discourse, and the African is a coward who is not prepared to fight for his or her destiny. Now imagine if we started with SADC Secretariat and not even Africa. We agree that one country focuses on what it does best, it will mean Zimbabwe will have a ready market of 380 million people for the product it is producing, the same applies to every country in the region. Imagine if we agreed that we focus on creating a phone manufacturer for SADC Secretariat and that different components are made in different countries in the region. It would mean that our people would have a phone made for them, by them and that the phone would have a ready market of 380 million people in the SADC Secretariat first, and then beyond. Airbus was created by four countries where it had a captive market, and then it sells beyond those four countries. Governments would be mandated to buy that SADC phone instead of other brands. It is just me thinking that this is possible in our life time if we stop politicking and start focusing on what works for us! AFRICA is awash with resources ams talent, it simply lacks good leadership and fearless citizens! This can be done, and our people will live better lives and have better quality jobs.

He led from the front, delivered without delay, and left behind results people can see and feel. Khammam didn’t lose a Collector it lost momentum. District Collector Khammam had seen many officers come and go. But when Anudeep Durishetty walked out of the Collectorate in April 2026, it did not feel like a routine transfer. It felt like a chapter had ended. The farewell was not just a formal gathering. It was emotional, heavy, and deeply personal. Employees who had worked with him stood silently, many unable to hold back tears. For them, he was not just a District Collector—he was a leader who changed how governance felt on the ground. When he took charge in June 2025, Khammam was like any other district—files moved, meetings happened, and systems functioned. But he refused to let administration remain mechanical. He brought speed, clarity, and purpose. One of the most striking changes was his push for technology. He insisted that officers use Artificial Intelligence tools for analysis, reporting, and monitoring schemes. Files that once took days began moving in hours. Reviews became sharper. Decisions became faster. Governance started speaking the language of the future. But his work was not limited to systems. It touched people directly. In schools, he launched the “Every Child Reads” campaign. Classrooms that were once silent began to echo with reading voices. Children who struggled with basics slowly found confidence. “Bagless Saturdays” turned learning into something joyful skills, creativity, and curiosity replaced routine memorization. In Velugumatla, when 31 acres of Bhoodan land were under threat, he acted decisively. The land, worth over ₹250 crore, was protected. For many, it was just a file. For him, it was justice. He did not wait for reports to understand problems. He visited sites, inspected works, and followed up relentlessly. Whether it was the Young India Integrated Gurukul buildings, Bhakta Ramadasu Kalakshetra modernization, or flood damage assessments his presence was constant. Work did not stop at approvals; it continued until results were visible. One incident stayed with many. A request came from a visually impaired student. Instead of routine processing, he ordered the conversion of a school into a specialized institution. That decision changed lives. It showed what responsive governance looks like. As the farewell meeting progressed, stories kept coming. Staff spoke about late-night reviews, field visits in difficult conditions, and his insistence on accountability. But more than that, they spoke about how he treated people with respect, clarity, and purpose. When his turn came to speak, the room was already emotional. He did not speak about achievements. He spoke about responsibility. He said administration is meaningful only when it reaches the last person. As he left the hall, there were no slogans, no grand gestures. Just silence, moist eyes, and folded hands. Khammam will move on. Another officer will take charge. Files will continue to move. But for those who saw governance change in real time for those children who started reading, for those lands that were protected, for those lives that were directly touched Anudeep Durishetty will not be remembered as just a Collector. He will be remembered as someone who made the system work like it was meant to. Revanth Reddy Office of Chief Secretary, Telangana Govt. IAS Association

This is the biggest thing I've ever done, I hope you spare some time to read through it 🙏 I am pleased to announce that I have found investors and have now raised the funds needed to launch GREENMAN FILM STUDIOS, a video production house focusing on live action content shot in 3D enviornments. ( like the example in the video ) using the top industry standard CGI software mixed with my GreenMan 'lets Macguyver everything' style, we will have the ability to make near-hollywood level CGI content for 1000s of times cheaper than big film studios. we will be making everything from short stories, funny commercials, skits, to full blown action/drama/comedy series in a way and to a level that hasnt been done before. (basically just like everything I do lol) This gives us a unique way to produce content that not only tells amazing stories, but also gives us the ability to make content to market products for small/med/large businesses. To do this, we are also partnering with a startup app that connects advertisers (that want to market their products in a more cost-effective way than buying TV commercials and airtime) to rising stars in the content creator community. - WHAT THIS MEANS FOR CREATORS: if you have been following me for a while you know I hate low effort, low frequency content. what we're planning to create here is not only a movie studio, but a hub to teach creators how create better content, how to network with others to create their own 'indie film studio' (all you need to get started is a person good at writing, one thats good at video, and one sound guy and you have the framework) and once they have honed their skills and are making cool stuff, there are advertisers waiting that suit their style of content. WHAT THIS MEANS FOR ADVERTISERS: do you have a business that makes it hard or too expensive to have professional level advertising made in a authentic and creative way? maybe you own a small energy drink company or you've created an AI helper tool... or even a small mom and pops family run arms dealer, we will give you high quality, super afforable solutions to market your products in a very unique way - if you're sick of low effort one liner type content and know that its not only stupid, cheap, and lame but also an unsustainable way to make a living as a creator... if you are willing to work hard for a very long time getting nothing in return except getting better at your craft until its good enough to earn you a serious living... then this is for you. this project is going to take some time to get off the ground. I am currently looking at premesis's to set up the studio space and talking to a few VFX artists about the various worlds we want to create. If you are someone who really wants to create cool visual content then this is your chance. spend this time finding people that complement your skill set, finding your style and practicing making cool stuff. when the time comes, we can help you elevate that to the next level, ready to entice advertisers. I'll be making a video in the next week explaining everything in more detail with cooler visuals and stuff but for now, thats the announcement. I cant tell you how pumped I am for whats about to come, I cant wait to show you all! (*the footage below is from a short film series called 'Dynamo Dreams')

I had a major fanboying moment just now!! For years, I’ve followed this hilarious TikTok account called Accidental Talmudist. The man behind the brand is a guy named Salvador Litvak aka “Sal”. I knew nothing about him other than his hilarious content, mostly good Jewish humor. Anyway, I always loved his stuff but we never connected. Until this week. Long story short, we just had a zoom meeting to discuss his new project that you absolutely need to know about, but hang on; I’m getting ahead of myself here. Why is he called The Accidental Talmudist? I always wondered about that. Listen to this!! Many years ago after growing up as a non religious Jew, Sal discovered Judaism. He had heard of the Talmud but every time he saw a Talmudic book on the shelves of a bookstore, he was intimidated and walked away without opening or buying the book. This went on for years. Then one day, he was at the book store and found himself again looking at the Talmud and again, he began to walk away. Then a voice inside of him said, “It’s just a book. Go find the first one of the series, read it, and get over your fear.” So that’s exactly what he did, he purchased the first tractate of the Talmud, the tractate of Brochos. What happened next is absolutely wild! He walked up to the counter to pay for the book, and the man behind the counter looked at the book and said to him, “Oh, you’re learning Daf Yomi?” He replied “What is daf yomi?” The man proceeded to explain to Sal that Daf Yomi is a global movement in which Jews around the world study one page of Talmud every day. The man then looked at him and said, “Today is day one of the cycle.” Clearly that was no coincidence and Sal was meant to be studying the Talmud. Well, fast forward seven years and he completes the entire Talmud. Now? He teaches Daf Yomi! Oh, you thought that was the most interesting part? Cute, not even close. Sal began his career as a lawyer but that didn’t last long. He moved to LA for film school decades ago and has since been producing and directing films with some of the biggest names in the industry. That’s right, an observant Jew directing movies in Hollywood. Still not the most interesting part. Sal and his wife Nina write the movies together and he then produces and directs them! This man who started out as a secular Jew who went to law school ended up being a deeply observant Jew producing Hollywood movies while also becoming a MASSIVE online influencer with millions of followers. So we had this zoom just now for me to hear about his new project, a movie opening tonight in over 70 cities across America. It’s called Guns & Moses. Sorry, I’m a sucker for a good pun. This movie is a thriller that combines so many different topics you’ll never find in any other movie. Some of the topics include Judaism, antisemitism, the 2nd amendment, and the list goes on. It is most definitely not your typical Hollywood movie!! He sent me a private screening so I can watch it, which I’m super excited to do. Here’s some more info on the movie and some quotes from people who have seen it. Guns & Moses is an edge-of-your-seat thriller about a Chabad rabbi who steps up to defend his community and becomes an action hero. A beloved, small-town rabbi who becomes an unlikely gunfighter after his community is violently attacked. Featuring a star-studded cast including Mark Feuerstein, Neal McDonough, Alona Tal, Christopher Lloyd and Dermot Mulroney. “Our goal was to make a Hollywood-quality film that would be a kiddush Hashem. And according to the buzz, we’ve succeeded. Twenty major publications have done pre-release stories about Guns & Moses, more are coming every day, it’s already being called the “surprise genre hit of the summer.” If all of that wasn’t interesting and inspiring enough, listen to this! As they were making this movie, Sal had a moment of doubt. He turned to Hashem and asked Him for a sign that he was on the right path and that they should keep going! At that moment, he got a call telling him that they just received a $500K tax incentive grant from the state of California, something that usually goes to big budget studio movies. So why did they get this grant? Sit down for this. They got it because a non-Jewish woman film commission in Sacramento respected that Sal is Sabbath observant. Yes. For real. True story. Sal is the first director in 100+ years of Hollywood history (dominated by Jews) to be shomer Shabbos. Unprecedented in Hollywood, the movie filmed Sun-Thurs instead of Mon-Fri, and the director had kosher food brought to him on set. Incredible stuff. Here are some quotes about the movie! “In a time when Jewish communities around the world are grappling with fear, grief, and rising hatred, Guns and Moses gives us a rare cinematic figure: an old-school hero shaped not by vengeance, but by faith and moral clarity. Rabbi Mo may wear a black fedora and long coat, but what makes him iconic isn’t the look—it’s his refusal to abandon compassion, even in the face of terror. - Film Review, Solzy at the Movies “'Guns & Moses' isn’t just a movie with a powerful message – it’s also a thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat.” - Aish “In their latest film, Salvador and Nina Litvak created a brave and stereotype-defying Orthodox Jewish hero: A gunslinging Chabad rabbi… It’s a first for Hollywood… A hero unlike any other that’s been seen on screen…” - Jewish Journal "In a world that’s getting more dangerous by the minute and a media landscape too squeamish to tackle faith, violence, and identity without neutering the message, Guns & Moses doesn’t just aim—it fires... this indie thriller might be the most surprising genre breakout of the year.” - Film Threat You can check the website to learn more and purchase tickets right now. The movie is hitting theaters tonight! Go watch it and make sure they have a strong opening weekend!!

This morning, I was returning from a condolence visit here in Lagos. A townsman had sadly lost his wife to the cold hands of death. After spending a good part of the day there, I decided to drive straight to my office instead of going back home first as I had originally planned. Lagos life no dey wait for anybody—if you blink twice, hold-up will use your destiny to do rehearsal. Barely ten minutes into the journey, I was flagged down by the Nigerian police. In true Naija fashion, they used the vehicle in front of mine as human shield to stop me—as if we were filming an action movie. I was about to properly park, but the officer immediately started demanding my driver’s license right there in the middle of the expressway. I politely asked him to allow me park first so I wouldn’t cause obstruction, but oga said no. Before I could say “Officer, calm down,” traffic had already started building up like JAMB website during registration season. After plenty back and forth, he finally allowed me to park halfway along the Isheri-Idimu Expressway. I handed him my driver’s license. He checked it and returned it. Next, he asked for my vehicle license. I gave it to him. Then he requested for roadworthiness. I handed that over too. Suddenly, his mood changed like NEPA light during rainy season. He flared up and started shouting that I did not give him all the documents at once. I was confused. I simply gave him exactly what he asked for, one after the other. But apparently, in his own constitution, I was supposed to have read his mind and submitted my entire family tree. He began yelling that I was wasting his time. I asked him calmly, “Officer, how exactly am I wasting your time?” The next statement shocked me: “I will change it for you o! In fact, come and open your boot!” At that point, tempers were rising on both sides. I told him, perhaps with more confidence than wisdom, to go and open it himself. But quickly remembering that what Nigerian Police officers cannot do does not exist, I decided to come down and open it myself before my village people would be accused. He searched my boot like he was looking for the missing budget of the federation. He scattered everything. Then he entered the car, opened compartments, checked under seats—searching for what was not lost. Meanwhile, while he was performing his ministry, I was quietly recording him with my phone. When he finally realized I was videoing him, ah! Ladies and gentlemen, the atmosphere changed immediately. Heaven did not fall, but hell applied for overtime. He insulted me.He called me names. He raised his voice. But trust me, it was aura for aura, egusi for egusi, pepper for pepper, back to sender with express delivery. At the end of the day, the devil searched but found nothing on the son of man. No hidden “something for the boys.” Just an innocent man trying to survive Lagos and reach his office in peace. Eventually, I entered my car and drove off, leaving behind the drama, the dust, and one very disappointed officer whose fishing expedition returned no catch. Moral lessons: First, integrity is expensive, but it saves you from unnecessary fear. When your hands are clean, your confidence becomes your defense. Second, power without courtesy becomes oppression. Uniform should command respect, not fear. Third, wisdom matters. In Nigeria, sometimes you need the patience of Job, the boldness of David, and the prayer life of Elijah just to survive one police checkpoint. And finally, life itself is unpredictable. From attending a condolence visit in the morning to almost acting Season 2 of “Police Wahala” by afternoon, one thing is clear: every day in Lagos deserves its own Nollywood documentary. This is a story that everyone is speaking about in China right now. A Chinese actor - Wang Xing 👇 - was lured to Thailand by a fake movie production company that told him they wanted him to star in a movie. When he arrived in the airport in Bangkok he was greeted by a chauffeur, arranged by the so-called production team, who later drove him to Myawaddy – a city in Myanmar known for being a hub of scam operations. He was of course being abducted by one of these numerous gangs that operate in largely lawless Myanmar. They have huge scam operations going on there, typically trying to scam Chinese nationals in various ways and often operated by various Chinese mafias. Which is why you're seeing the Chinese government being so involved in trying to ensure Myanmar gets its act together (they for instance notoriously managed to bring down the "Ming family" mafia gang who owned the notorious Crouching Tiger Villa scam centre in Kokang, near the Chinese border in Myanmar's Shan State: These scam operations are often staffed by people like Wang Xing who were abducted into it and are forced to work for free (i.e. slavery) until they scam enough money for the gangs. Sometimes, if they're rich enough, they are also held for ransom. Luckily in Wang Xing's case, on the way there he managed to keep sending his location to his girlfriend in China, until his phone was taken away from him at the Myanmar border. His girlfriend then created so much buzz about it in social media, shared by some of China's biggest celebrities (like singer Lay Zhang and actor Qin Lan), that it alerted the Chinese and Thai authorities. We don't know exactly how his rescue occurred, just that within less than 48 hours he'd been freed (apparently by the Thai army, although it's unclear). The case shows how sophisticated these mafias have become in their targeting methods. They're specifically crafting schemes to trap entertainment industry professionals. And Wang Xing's case is far from isolated: the China Federation of Radio and Television Association revealed in a statement on Tuesday that "many actors" have fallen victim to these fake overseas film shoot promises, suffering "serious damage to their personal and financial security." According to Wang Xing there were approximately 50 other Chinese nationals being held at the same facility as him. At this stage I don't believe we know if they were rescued alongside with him (I'm reading conflicting reports on this). All in all, victims are likely in the thousands: a group of Chinese families have started a petition urging the government to help find their missing relatives - the number of cases has already climbed to more than 600, and continues to rise. Some estimates - for instance by the UN - mention that as many as 120,000 people may "have been potentially trafficked into scam compounds [in Myanmar]" ( The case is also extremely embarrassing for Thailand which increasingly relies on Chinese tourism, which is probably why the Thai authorities were so quick to act. Thai officials, eager to contain potential damage ahead of Chinese New Year, have emphasized that no Thai nationals were involved in Wang's trafficking. But even as they dealt with his case, they were already investigating the disappearance of another Chinese model in the same border region. Wang's case has brought unprecedented attention to these scam operations, but it also raises several uncomfortable questions: will the thousands of others victims be saved too, and how many more will be trafficked before these criminal networks are shut down?

Marc Andreessen on why Starlink succeeded where Bill Gates and Motorola failed catastrophically: Starlink just passed 10 million subscribers. But consumer satellite internet had already bankrupted some of the most well-funded companies in history. Marc Andreessen explains that Elon Musk was far from the first person to attempt this. Two earlier efforts ended in disaster: The first was backed by Bill Gates at the peak of Microsoft's power: "Bill Gates, Craig McCaw. So when Microsoft was on the top of the world and Craig McCaw basically built cellular telephony in the US, built what's now AT&T mobile, those guys teamed up in the early '90s and put up satellite-based voice, and then it was going to be internet access. Complete catastrophe, total bankruptcy, complete disaster." The second came from the company that once dominated American mobile phones: "Motorola, which used to make all the cell phones in the US, had another one called Iridium. The system is actually still up. And again, it's just like this classic business school case study of complete disaster, capital destruction." So when Elon Musk decided to try it anyway, the reaction was predictable. As Marc puts it: "Elon's like, 'I know, I'm going to do number three of those.' Starlink as a side project at the rocket ship company." But Elon wasn't really repeating the same bet. He was solving a different problem first, and Starlink was the byproduct. Marc explains the insight: "In retrospect it's total genius. He's like, 'We're going to be putting up, if the rockets are reusable, we're going to be launching them all the time. And then the question becomes, what's going to go in the rockets?' He's like, 'I could wait for the customers to come to me, or I could put up my own satellites. What would be the satellite to put up? Oh, it would be consumer grade, consumer priced internet access.'" This is what Gates and Motorola never had. The economics that crushed every previous attempt simply didn't apply to SpaceX. Reusable rockets changed the math entirely. His closing thought captures why this story matters: "It's a formula that captures both sides of it. And it may be like the least studied and understood thing I know of in the world right now." The lesson? The same idea that bankrupts you on the wrong infrastructure can make you a fortune on the right one.
